He's been ok, I don't think he's been shit or anything like that. There's just very little range on his passing, average at winning the ball back, and scores very little.

Well you could say all that about Dier. Not sure a defensive mid should be judged on scoring goals.

As good a half from this England team as I’ve seen in a long while, just piss poor finishing letting us down. We should be 3 up by now.
Trip pier has been excellent and, dare I say it, so has Henderson. Lingaard’s movement has been top notch, shame his finishing has been godawful.

Keep up the same intensity and we should win this well...

Provided we don’t shit the bed in front of goal any more..

He's not really a defensive midfielder though either, he's not someone that excels at interceptions and tackling. He screams jack of all trades and master of none.

Why was Walker (a right back) moved to the central centre back. If he’s not there it’s not a pen.

Sterling has been largely anonymous. He's coming very deep to get the ball. Not sure what his job description is.

The defence is clearly going to be our downfall this tournament. It was only a few years ago that the likes of King and Carragher couldn’t even get into starting lineup, now we have a mediocre right back, a Man City backup and Herman Munster cobbled together into a back three.

Lingard's missed one clear chance correct? The one that hit the post you can't blame him for missing.
Lovely cross from Young as well and fluffed it, had he more composure his shot from 10 yards out that got blocked got a corner from would have been a goal too

What amazes me is that has to be the most blatant foul in the box so far, a clear pen and VAR didn't work.

Useless officials all round.

I think the Walker foul just proves that players should go on to be referees when they finish playing. An ex pro would know Walker was shielding and nothing more.

He’s literally hit two or three great long passes. If you watched Dier’s performances at the Euros, you’d understand why Henderson is playing.

The problem in that midfield is Linguard.
