Fazio on for Rojo. Slow-coach replaces hot-head.

Rojo was sure to get sent off if he stayed on.

Sweet, Sampaoli is putting on Fazio to contend with Mbappe's pace. :wacky:

I don't think I have ever seen a more tragic waste of talent and neglection of tactical application than Deschamps with this squad. It's a mockery of three shams.

Four, four fucking two, leaves Sidibe, Mendy, Tolisso out, and there is just no tactical instruction on what to do without the ball, they are just ambling around waiting for - a shit - Argentina to amble up to their 30 yard line and give them back the ball, then Pogba just whacks it for Mbappe - being played as a right winger - to chase.

The best thing that could happen to this side is for France to get beat and Deschamps can then be fucking sacked, because he's pissing away a wonderful group of footballers.

This is what they could have:

Lloris

Veran----------Umtiti
Sidibe------------------------------------------------Mendy

kante
Tolisso----------------------------Pogba

Mbappe------------Griezmann--------Dembele

Push up, press the ball and have Tolisso and Pogba getting the ball to Mbappe and Dembele to go at isolated defenders.

And Sampaoli's equally muddled bollocks is almost as bad, but at least his team are coached to actually try and he inherited a much more unbalanced group of players.

So now that Argentina lead, would you rather Deschampes or Sampaoli be the manager who goes home?

It's a tough one for me. Both have been so inept.

On a serious note, Fazio has been really impressive for Roma.

Good move bringing him on.
