Regarding my last post, they could always be swapping him with Willian at Chelsea of course. That would be annoying.

I don't understand how he's a homegrown issue, we lose one, and gain one in a swap? It's not like we gain a non homegrown player?

I think the objective is to try and reduce our non HG numbers to make space for a player/players in a priority position like CM.

Annoyingly I think that swap deal, aswell as United getting Toby has more of a chance of happening ?

We were one over the limit with VJ and GKN on loan. They are back now, so three over the limit and four to shift before we can get one in and be tidy.

Chat over on COYS that the swap with Toby might finally be happening. It’s via info from another site so no idea how accurate it is. One of the posters on COYS seems to think it’s legit though.

The agents bong bong drums are suggesting that the manure have finaly relented and are now going to let Martial join us after all..in which case, it looks like a swap, with Toby getting his move to the shitshow that is Moroniho..

It's brinkmanship of the first order, but if it happens, Levy/our board will have faced them down.

I'm still skeptical, but one agent who's looking to be part of the knock on effect is adamant the impasse has been broken.
Well im at a loss as to what the knock on effect of a simple swap between Utd snd Spurs could be. We dont look to be anywhere close to CB and Martial is pretty much surplus to Utd as is

Ali Z must have misunderstood the info he was given as Man United have been saying no to us all summer. For it to suddenly change to them offering us Martial and us saying no thanks just can’t be right.

I'd have thought if anything it would make the "knock-on" more straight forward. Martial to us in the swap deal, Willian to United, Zaha to Chelsea. Everyone seemingly gets their man...

...apart from Poch allegedly wanting Zaha.

But they add one of the best CB's in the world, even if it's just short term United won't have issues splashing out again on someone like Maguire after a few windows. Win-win situation for both clubs tbh.
