I'd rather have bought Chadli back for £30m
Nah this guy is proper shit. He isn't just shit but real diarrhoea kind of stuff
Yeah, I think it's abundantly clear to even the staunchest of optimists that we were well and truly had by Ashley. The guy doesn't even resemble a footballer.
It takes him a minimum of 10 touches to get the ball under control, that's of course if he hasn't ballooned the ball 10 - 15 yards ahead of him with his first touch and lost possession as a result. As I've said before it appears as if the ball is completely alien to him, like he doesn't do any ball work in between appearances.
Everything. His touch, vision, control and general all round play is shocking.

We've seen enough

He is nowhere near good enough for us
People can dress it up as much as they like.

The guy is fucking dog shit.

Like proper shit.

If he runs without falling over people give him a 7.

He's got to go in January. A free somewhere I don't care. He gives us nothing - nadda. He' a waste of a squad place.
To be fair to him, it’s not easy playing football with concrete football boots.
I'd genuinely rather play with 10 men than have Sissoko in the team. He offers absolutely nothing, costs us possession so often it's embarrassing and squanders every good position we have the ball with the worst first touch in football.
Why did we even sign him and to make it worse, we paid such a high fee (for a player of his level).

I don’t see what the club saw in him that fit the way we want to play or in our ambitions to win trophies.
A horse with a water cannon also offers us something different, doesn't mean we should have in in the starting eleven.
Just fuck him off ASAP please. Good lord
Look up the word garbage in the dictionary and you find Sissoko.

Awful, awful player.
Memories that can now be laid to rest!!

Just wonder whether he has anything left in the tank for Sunday, the way he ran for the last two games.

Can we listen to poch and maybe learn. The team "hears and feels" when the fans are being negative. Support the team and players specially if they are having a hard time.

A notable list of SC alumni but I’m amazed you found so much negativity without posting a single quote from dearly departed BC...

Tbh, i want to have a bc-on-sissoko-watch in this forum. He is accused of agenda-driven in the other forum. What a surprise

One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is he plays like a leader now. The confidence has him pointing at and yelling at everyone to get into positions or pointing out passes. Happy for him (y)

I absolutely stand by what I said at the time of posting, he didn't even resemble a footballer. Thankfully he's turned it round over the last half dozen games, good timing too! Honourable mention to his partner in crime Aurier, who I also thought was shite and has stepped it up.

They're both not quite ready to be considered first choice picks when we have a fully fit squad IMO. Sissoko is a bit closer, just because Dembele has been declining and Moussa S. has been more consistent and has far more footballing intelligence than Serge, certainly positionally.

How Aurier got yet more votes for MoTM is utterly mystifying, honestly think people are overestimating his performances to suit their point (he was better against Chelsea than Inter).

(Edit. I don't think anyone would rather that we kept Sissoko and didn't sign a new Centre Midfielder.)

Whatever way you look at it, he's an incredible athlete that opponents can't cope with in this form. On the counter attack he can be devastating and he runs through walls defensively as well. He's the only player we have who does both to this level. His footballing ability is so much better with a bit of confidence too. I was never over critical of him but was confused about why we bought him, I know the answer now - long may it continue.

He is doing awesome at the moment

Question is, if a team from abroad, say psg, came in and put £80m on table for him would you take it?

If Sissoko could add goals to his game on this form he would be the best player in the league

He's the same player that has played in england for 5 years. He's playing well and long may it continue but he will never be the best player in the league.
