We're one goal down with 45 minutes remaining... I never considered myself an optimist until I started posting on here. Now I feel like Martin Luther King.

If Poch doesnt change something then I'm done with him. Fuck building a legacy when you choke at first serious step. Like always.

Perhaps his legacy will be a nearly manager at Tottenham?

Semi finals and done.

Seriously though, just a shocking half of football even with the injuries. I suspect 15 premier league teams would offer more resistance tonight in this game.

Joe Cole just said Poch fancies himself. That is peak Sky Sports punditry. They literally can't make a comment close to this one ever again.

All going wrong, and the team doesn't look up for it.

I have no sympathy for Pochettino for starters. Lets revisit an old discussion, because yet again we concede a goal from a corner headed to a man unmarked edge of the box. It's already happened in one semi final against Chelsea ffs, and I make it four games now it's happened that I can recall. Lots of posters have tried to tell me that you cant do anything about this type of goal, that isn't fucking true. How about marking the two players left unattended at the edge of the box? We aren't learning, it's not good enough, it might have cost us yet again. Fine margins you have to eradicate.

The second goal is largely down to us getting tactically done. Chelsea have predicted we'd go with the diamond, and are just playing with width - using the fullbacks and the likes of Barkley are coming out into the channels to gang up on us. The goal we just get done on shape, pure and simple.

I don't know what you do. We're stuck in our own third and no outlets. So many haven't turned up yet, Eriksen, Lamela etc. Llorente is playing like what he is - someone who's legs have gone with the added debilitating factor of zero confidence. Sissoko looks off the pace, but the one who surely has to be hooked at the break is Dier, who is so far off it tonight and is a gamble that isn't working.

As it stands we need a huge effort that looks unlikely, and we badly need to regroup at the back as we'd threatened to get cut to pieces as we went chasing the game as the whistle came.

Just saw the replay of that hazard goal.

Dier needs hooking for that, disgraceful. He gives away the free kick, lets hazard take it, then run past him and eventually hazard scores, while he still hasn’t got out of a jog. Pathetic

How much cover are we meant to have? Kane Dele and Son are all out at the same time, that is unheard of, no team in the country has cover for that kind of loss. We are better off with Danny Rose on now but if we have Llorente on we need to at least play to the strengths he has. Get one back and I have some confidence in Gazzaniga for penalties.

All this sympathy for Poch. Presumably he signed off on the two useless, waste of space and money strikers we have on the books? He's had £40m and £100k per week to spend on Kane backups and got two donkeys

I like Poch and his mentor Bielsa, but I would also prefer him to become more pragmatic at times. Sit deep, soak up pressure, frustrate them, take the crowd out of the game, be Liverpool of the 80s and the Porto of Mourinho and play on the break. We don't always have to try to play open and expansive football. Just defend a lead once in awhile.

To be fair I think that's what we were trying to do.
