Recently?I think Sessegnon is pretty much a gimme from what JJ was saying although I don't know where that will leave Davies/Rose.

No, I'm think more of a Xabi Alonso type. Someone who can see the play and ping balls through. Eriksen doesn't really like playing that deep. In fact last night he was playing right up with Kane and Son most of the time.So Eriksen... and that combination hasn't looked great all season.

I think my ideal scenario if we're selling Eriksen is to spend that money on getting a real deep-lying playmaker, who can make us tick, and feed Kane, Son and Alli.
I've not seen him, but getting someone in midfield with real vision and cast-iron confidence is probably the most important signing we'll make for years.I've only watched him a few times, but Sangare from Toulouse seems to have it all. Great ball winner, strong, willing runner, great passer who loves a through ball, and incredibly technical too. Would be perfect at the base of our midfield from what I've seen.
Isn't that what everyone says Winks is?No, I'm think more of a Xabi Alonso type. Someone who can see the play and ping balls through. Eriksen doesn't really like playing that deep. In fact last night he was playing right up with Kane and Son most of the time.

No, Winks is good at taking the ball in tight spaces and getting it moving. He's not a really visionary passer, although his choices are getting better with more experience. He's not a Carrick, Alonso type.Isn't that what everyone says Winks is?
Says we also want his brother in the deal aswellA lot of reports coming out right now of us going for Sessegnon. If ever a transfer was nailed on, this is it. As soon as Fulham were relegated it became a matter of when not if.

I would say we need two if not three of these types of players to replace: Wanyama, Dembele and potentially (Eriksen and Sissoko and Dier should he move to the back).I've not seen him, but getting someone in midfield with real vision and cast-iron confidence is probably the most important signing we'll make for years.
Sissoko starting CM next season? Really? I think if Sissoko is still in the first XI in CM after the summer window then something has gone desperately wrong.

I'd like to see the bulk of our spend this summer go into midfield first, and our full-backs second.
Kinda worried that we're gonna sign a big name winger and not leave enough money to properly sort out the midfield
I just think we need players who are better on the ball. That's harsh when he's in the running for player of our season.
Soooo he's Jorginho? I don't see what value a midfielder who doesn't play much defense and isn't a visionary passer truly brings if we're trying to get a badass midfield. No, Winks is good at taking the ball in tight spaces and getting it moving. Also, Xabi Alonso always played with a more creative midfielder. Ozil/Di Maria at Real and Thiago/Gotze at Bayern. No, I'm think more of a Xabi Alonso type.
