So Eriksen... and that combination hasn't looked great all season.
No, I'm think more of a Xabi Alonso type. Someone who can see the play and ping balls through. Eriksen doesn't really like playing that deep. In fact last night he was playing right up with Kane and Son most of the time.

I think my ideal scenario if we're selling Eriksen is to spend that money on getting a real deep-lying playmaker, who can make us tick, and feed Kane, Son and Alli.

I've only watched him a few times, but Sangare from Toulouse seems to have it all. Great ball winner, strong, willing runner, great passer who loves a through ball, and incredibly technical too. Would be perfect at the base of our midfield from what I've seen.

I've not seen him, but getting someone in midfield with real vision and cast-iron confidence is probably the most important signing we'll make for years.

Was out with my mates who are Everton fans on Tuesday and they absolutely adore Gomes. I wonder if this season has convinced Poch to take the plunge as from what I’ve seen of him albeit it’s not a lot he looks a player.

Isn't that what everyone says Winks is?

No, Winks is good at taking the ball in tight spaces and getting it moving. He's not a really visionary passer, although his choices are getting better with more experience. He's not a Carrick, Alonso type.

A lot of reports coming out right now of us going for Sessegnon. If ever a transfer was nailed on, this is it. As soon as Fulham were relegated it became a matter of when not if.

I would say we need two if not three of these types of players to replace: Wanyama, Dembele and potentially (Eriksen and Sissoko and Dier should he move to the back).
I'd like to see the bulk of our spend this summer go into midfield first, and our full-backs second.

Kinda worried that we're gonna sign a big name winger and not leave enough money to properly sort out the midfield

Soooo he's Jorginho? I don't see what value a midfielder who doesn't play much defense and isn't a visionary passer truly brings if we're trying to get a badass midfield.

I really wanted us to sign Zaha last summer, but now I'm thinking that for amount he would cost (60 mil+ I guess), we could spend the money better.

I'd take AWB without a blink of the eye.

Also, Xabi Alonso always played with a more creative midfielder. Ozil/Di Maria at Real and Thiago/Gotze at Bayern.

I just think we need players who are better on the ball.

I hear you, but I think Sissoko still has a massive squad role to play next season. Not saying he should always start, but a great rotational option for the right kind of the game, or a great option to come off the bench to close a game out.

He was a beast in the second half against Liverpool, despite the miss. These are the games I think suit him.

I see him as a big part of the squad next season.
