Everybody complains about our attacking depth but we have better attacking depth than every team bar City. A new backup striker is all we need IMO. Lucas and Lamela are better backups than ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal all have.

Man U have a lot of attacking depth more than us imo

I hear you, but I think Sissoko still has a massive squad role to play next season. Not saying he should always start, but a great rotational option for the right kind of the game, or a great option to come off the bench to close a game out.

He was a beast in the second half against Liverpool, despite the miss. These are the games I think suit him.

I see him as a big part of the squad next season.
I agree.

What? Our best cm this season starting next season is wrong?
He should be one of our options. He's been good this season but let's be realistic here, we need someone with better technical ability.

Martial Rashford Lingard
Sanchez Lukaku Mata

Eh? They have a backup striker thats about it. Lucas is better than Sanchez at this point and Lamela has outproduced Mata in about 100 less minutes.

It’s about getting the right mix. Sure technically Sissoko is not the greatest but with good technical players around him Sissoko can keep doing what he does best

I would argue that "what Sissoko does best" isn't really needed if we have some actual quality CMs who can pass and control the ball reliably and usefully. The only reason he's played so much in CM this season is because of circumstance, not because he's great there.

I recognize the improvement however and think he deserves to be in the mix.

Winks has been good Sissoko has been better imo

No denying Sissokos improved performances has probably saved us monumental embarisment this season, but I much prefer watching Winks+Dier than Winks+Sissoko because Winks losses his freedom to be more creative next to Sissoko.

Ideally we need Wanyama replacement to free up Winks from the deeper roll and add a big name player to replace Dembele. Leaving us with plenty of options especially if Poch wants to play a midfield 3 becasue for me Dele and Eriksen in that 3 are wasting their best talents.

A lot of reports coming out right now of us going for Sessegnon. If ever a transfer was nailed on, this is it. As soon as Fulham were relegated it became a matter of when not if.

Ahem....

Brooks
Grealish
Wan Bissaka
Zaha
A top centre half

Time to get back to buying English based players as this is where we've built our success.

They would certainly all be on my list. Add a new centre back and a defensive midfielder to that then we are set. I’m all for going all our British as much as is possible within our budget.

Sell/release: GKN, Janssen, Fernando, Aurier, Trippier, Toby and Eriksen (sadly they are gone), Wanyama (China?), Onomah, Vorm. About 160 mill
Wish list: Wan-Bissaka, Declan Rice, Sessegnon brothers, Grealish About the same
Wow I see Brexit has infected the transfer thread and we are going full English in our transfer targets. Ok I counter with the Remainiac wishlist of Brandt, Havertz and N’Dombele. ?

I still think we should pass on Sess but im aware others dont feel the same. Tierney is the LB I want and the player I think is best suited to our style.
