Think people sometimes forget that Sessegnon is only 18 years old. Also put up some decent stats in a side that was completely bereft of fight and direction.

Here's my dream Tottenham rebuild....

My INS would be Sancho, Grealish, NDombele, AWB, Daniel James, and Max Kruse on a free.
My OUTS would be Eriksen, Toby, Trips, Wanyama, Lamela, Janssen, Nkoudou, Vorm, Llorente, (possibly Aurier)

I'd be content with giving Aurier another go and looking to offload him in the Winter if he's surplus.

Shift all the dead wood and rebuild the team.

GK: Lloris, Gaz, Whiteman

RB: AWB, KWP, *Aurier*

RCB: Sanchez, Foyth

LCB: Verts, (Davies)

LB: Rose, Davies

CM/CDM: Ndombele, Sissoko, Winks, Dier

LAM - Son, James

CAM - Dele, Grealish

RAM - Sancho, Lucas, Edwards

ST - Kane, Kruse

Lloris
AWB Sanchez Verts Rose
NDombele Sissoko
Sancho Dele Son
Kane
There's not much creativity in there.

I would argue that "what Sissoko does best" isn't really needed if we have some actual quality CMs who can pass and control the ball reliably and usefully. The only reason he's played so much in CM this season is because of circumstance, not because he's great there.

I recognize the improvement however and think he deserves to be in the mix.
I agree, Sissoko is a symptom of what's going wrong with our play. Our form has dropped since he has been our starting midfielder as we don't have the technical ability in CM to control our play. Having someone have the occasional lung busting run looks impressive as we're either playing a CB there in Dier or a AM in Dele or Eriksen there who aren't 100% comfortable playing with someone who lacks the tactical discipline. It's also no surprise that our form has dropped since Dembele stopped playing.

Should Eriksen move to Real, I hope we can involve this guy in the deal...

Like him. We were linked before he went to Madrid. That video however shows a glaring deficiency. His one sidedness. No different to Lamela. Christian is 2 footed, and it shows.

I actually think we should try Sissoko at RB, he spends most of his time covering Trippier and Aurier and is better going forward than both of them, time to stop using him as a crutch for players who aren’t good enough in that position, move him there and replace him in CM.

Been saying exactly the same the last few games. Absolute tank of a player who would bomb on and beat a man unlike trippier with his pure power and pace like his bursts through the middle.

Obviously CMs are the priority.

I'd like to see us bring in (in order of priority):
Tielemans
Diawara
RB - Really not 100% sure who tbh
Ziyech - Creative, goal scoring player who can dribble and play AM, RW and CM (in a 3).
LB - again not sure who
Back up Striker - Though I would be happy to extend Llorente's contract for another year instead.
Sessegnon - Just to be greedy, not essential

For the Outs:
Wanyama
either Aurier or Trippier with KWP going out on loan or both with KWP staying
Lamela
Rose - Too injury prone and he is 28 now, so his value will start to drop
Llorente - Unless he signs a 1 year extension
Toby - Unfortunately. With Sanchez taking over him at CB and Dier dropping back to challenge him and Verts
Vorm
GKN
Janssen
Edwards on loan - Only If we signed Sessegnon

Wow I see Brexit has infected the transfer thread and we are going full English in our transfer targets. Ok I counter with the Remainiac wishlist of Brandt, Havertz and N’Dombele. ?
na mate - just know that we have HG issues at the mo and those ratios could be getting tougher....so let's plan ahead for once!

Except I don't think u-21s count so Sessegnon bros and Rice don't help us next season.

Fekir will be entering the last year of his contract in the summer. Surely an option we look at

I’d rather deal with any issues around HG by getting rid of non-HG who don’t cut it, the list of those is quite lengthy - Vorm, Aurier, Wanyama, Lamela, Llorente and I’d add in Moura although I know many wouldn’t. Add in the likely departures of Eriksen and Toby and I think we are very far from having any issues with HG quota. We should only buy HG where we get the requisite quality at a sensible price, beyond this our HG should largely come from the academy.

Wouldn't mind us taking a crack at him, but two things might hinder us which is Liverpool going back in for him and he is actually a luxury signing for us at the moment. We need to sort both FB positions and CM first.

Rafa leaving Newcastle rumours could mean we pick at some of their potentially unhappy players, lascelles anyone

The only thing I would disagree with here is Moura, I reckon he deserves another full season with us. He has shown glimpses of a great player when he is actually played in his correct position.

However regardless of HG quota, I'd prefer us to sign local talent. But that is just my personal preference.

Lascelles and I might get slack for this but Perez would be my two picks.

Perez certainly won't set the world on fire, but he is good for 5-10 goals a season off the bench as back up to Kane and he can chip in with an assist or two here and there too. He can play centrally and off the wing so he is versatile.

Would be as effective as Llorente has been but at a much younger age. Wouldn't cost an arm and a leg either, think his current market value is £10 million.

Perez or Rondon could be Llorente replacements, both of them can run about a bit more.

They do in UEFA competitions when they haven't been with the club for 2 years or more. However, it will help long term, and having them in the squad most likely will mean we need fewer registered players of senior age.

No doubt Zaha is a good player but not at the price palace would like .£35-40M would be my max value for his service ...I just think he’s to inconsistent in front of goal .

Good player though
