Xavi is one of my fav players but never in a million years would we be able to sign him. He is one of the most valued players in the Barca side. And what was it Chelski would have had to pay for Villa, £45mill?? :rofl:

I would cream in my boxers if we signed Xavi.....thats a disgusting thought I know but you can't really blame me!

David Villa wouldn't ever happen and would cost a fortune anyway and Casillas is no better than Robbo, simple as that, very prone to an error and loves to punch way too much!

the club is probably just being used as a means of getting a better contract...it says casillas is on £2m-a-year, i'm sure he wants more considering he plays for madrid

Rubbish. He was unbelievable last season for Real. Got them out of so many scrapes with his keeping. Take your chunky Robbo tinted shades off for a minute.

Anyway, the whole article is tripe.

Heard it on Spanish radio as well. For the good of Spurs I hope it is not true. Casillas is the most overrated keeper around. He looks fantastic on youtube but has so many flaws in his game that it is not worth mention them. Since he's been around keeping for Madrid they have never had a reliable defence, and part of the reason is Casillas who doesn;t command his own box.
He isn't any better than Robbo, and forget about those long passes for Berbatov to put Keene through with Casillas as a keeper. Casillas can't get the ball past the half way line ;D.

I expect us to sign Messi, Ronaldinho and van Nistelrooy as well, and change formation back to 2-3-5, which seemed to work so well about a century ago. Also, I wholeheartedly agree with this part:

I read the original article in El Mundo and it says that Spurs are loaded with cash, that the "adored by the board" Juande can do what he pleases with it, and that he has made Casillas his first target: 40 million euros for Real Madrid and 7 for the player per year (currently he gets 6).Juande would be willing to up the offer if not succesful.

Juande would also like to sign Xavi from Barcelona (Rijkaard wants Cesc to replace him) and Villa from Valencia as Berbatov may leave as early as the next transfer window.

So Zokora to Arsenal, Xavi to Spurs and Cesc to Barca. that would be the dream of any Spurs fan :grin:
