Nice one Teddy. Not yet though. Let's see what Ramos can do in the next few years.

Oh Teddy, Teddy,
Teddy, Teddy, Teddy, Teddy Sheringham!

All together now...

Seriously though, I'd love to see Teddy back at the Lane. Not yet, of course. But one day, when we're all a little greyer, a little wiser and, yes, possibly even a little less continent.

When i heard he was moving into Management, thought start in the lower leagues, prove yourself, then i'd love to have Teddy at the helm.

Possible number two for Ramos one day? Learning the ropes?

No thank you. A legend as played for us with heart on his sleeves, no question there.

But.....apparently has social issues / attitudes with regards to less talented individuals and others, which is not one of the attributes to being an effective manager in my book.

Also why do people think that because some one played well and wants to go into management they will automatically succeed there too? And before any one say what about Pierce and Southgate, would you have them managing at Spurs?

I may however change my mind if he went along the road of say Paul Ince and earn his badges through experience in a lower league.

I predict great things for the Tedster once he starts out on the managerial path. I've still yet to see a player since with such a great footballing brain and I truly believe that it will translate well into management. Who knows, if Bayern Munich are a success Teddy could find his way back to the Lane in years to come in the form of Klinsmann's no. 2, before taking the full time reigns! Well, one can dream anyhow...

I think it's the romanticism of seeing a former playing legend return to the club. Remember the joy that greeted Hoddle's return to Spurs as manager?

I agree that there is no guarantee that Teddy will be an effective manager, but it appeals to my sense of sentimentality to imagine Teddy at the helm of Spurs.

I'm torn now, Ramos has done a good job so far but Teddy is my idol, and well I kinda wanna see him on the touchline as the coach.

Teddy had a great footballing brain on the pitch to make up for his pace, if he can transfer that from the pitch to management then he will be a very good manager indeed, Would like to see him start somewhere like Millwall, Colchester or Leicester and get them up a divison or 2.

Be good to see him take over as our Joe Fagan (with Ramos and Poyet being our Shankley and Paisley) in 15 or 20 years time.

Awesome.

I knew he was a yiddo, even when he claimed he was a West Ham fan.

Give him 5-6 years, he'll probably make a great manager.

Are you serious...???

As a long time admirerer and a die hard fan of the guy....yes.

As a spursfan with high hopes for next season....no.

As a long time spursfan with lots of high hopes for every season.....i "know" that Ramos too will proably be sacked in a season and a half so why not sign him on precontract now:)

Edit: That last passage made me depressed and Im withdrawing the statement.....
