Just me that is thinking even less of him now?

It's got certain whiff of Mrs. McCartney about it hasn't it? I know others have done it before but without being nasty isn't Jol really a one hit wonder in this country so far? To be fair?

Sure, it could all be roses and I hope it is, but if he does decide to slag off the club blow by blow then I hope he also includes a blow by blow account of the games he lost and how he lost them.

I'll always love old Mart but I really hope he doesn't do the dirty on us with this book. I'd always respect his opinions on private relationships with Levy and co., but he needn't make it public.

Considering you were singing for Ramos the night Jol was sacked I doubt he’ll be that bothered that you think any less of him.

I liked Jol, but there was no coming back from him. We all know it was the right decision to get Ramos in. He did a good job, and was a good bloke and got us our two best league finishes in a very long time. However I think there is no need for this, and the board though acted poorly in August, have done the best for the club.

No need for it!?! Who the hell doesn’t release a book these days? At least Jol’s story will be in some way more interesting than someone who just spent a few days in a jungle with Ant and Dec! I fully expected this book to come out, absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t.

He's a football manager, not a celebrity! How many managers bring out a book when they fail? The fans should be getting behind the new regime rather than getting ready for Jol's book which will no doubt look back favourably on the fans, but not so much on the club. I think it's unnecessary as I can see it causing a little unrest. He got sacked, he should just walk away with his held high knowing he did a good job for us, and get on with whatever is next in his life. Not crying because we've got a better manager.

Welcome to 2007, everyone is a celebrity :)

How many managers bring out a book when they fail?

He failed did he? I thought his objective for the first few years was to get us back into Europe. Did you think those games against European clubs last season were practice matches?

Who says he’s crying? It’s a biography about his career and life, not just about his sacking and I for one am interested in his story. As for unrest, it’s not gonna make a slight bit of difference to the new regime. The papers might blow bits of it out of proportion but hey, what’s new?

Nick the book was being written before he was sacked. So him being sacked during the writing of this book is bound to come into it and frankly is an excellent selling point because of the interest in how it was handled. If the board had handled the sacking properly Jol couldn't have said much in the book.

Yeah and he had them over a barrel when he was screwing them for more money and speaking to other clubs on the one hand and then saying to the fans how he would always loves spurs on the other. He is seeming more and more mercenary and I couldn't give a shit if the club messed him about or not, he got his pieces of silver for the trouble. He isn't the spurs manager anymore so he can go do one as far as I am concerned.

Jols a legend, should be a good read. The way he was treated is it any wonder he'd like to get his point across?

Cannot believe people are calling him a failure. During my 26 years as a fan he is the best manager I have expereinced us having. His record was superb up until the beginning of this year, when the board undermined him and the players showed an appalling attitude. If anything he over achieved at the beginning of his reign which led to inflated and over ambitious aims from the board and media. And also the fans, most dissapointingly.

With the players we have in our squad we are at our best the 5th best team in England. We are still a fair way off 4th. Whether that be under Ramos or Jol. We just do not have the players. Commoli should have been sacked as well if the board felt that Jol was not good enough.

Spurs fans fickle? never...
