I just have a feeling dele will go to PSG on loan and we’ll bring eriksen back last week of window

The counter-point is why can't we give minutes to our other academy CM's (White, Devine) instead? Gedson clearly doesn't have a future here and we're better off developing our players and giving them experience when we can.

Dragon1 on COYS last few minutes:
Regarding dele it’s all in Daniels court

dele does not want to be in the bench and Jose does not fancy him .

if we sell has to be over 50 , loan is an option as if Jose does not make top 4 or win something Jose may not be around long and dele is still a top player so we would probably like to keep him , it’s a difficult decision

Thanks for sharing. We should consider an 18 month loan and maybe even propose a player swap with PSG, similar to what Juve and Bayern frequently do. Dele gets a chance to get his mojo back in a less challenging league with coach who knows what he can offer. We can then hopefully pick up a player from PSG (e.g Gueye, Paredes) who would work better in a Mourinho team.

Yeah there hasn’t been much yet. There’s some Dragon stuff in the Sabitzer thread I think.

We certainly can't afford to sell a HG player and bring in two foreigners at this point. The best scenario for us is to let Alli go out on loan and bring in Eriksen to replace him for 6 months. We've then got to hope Alli does well so we can get £50-60m come the summer with time to sort out the HG issues.

I fail to see the former being a realistic deal from PSGs point of view though. 6 month loans don't tend to be commonplace between foreign clubs do they? I think there's a chance Alli will go there for 18 months if Levy doesn't get the high price we're looking for and we will then bring Eriksen in for 6. Those two players are surely gonna have to wait until the summer.

Why the rush if we're not bringing anyone in? He played against Marine and you wouldn't bet against him playing against Wycombe either. He could be useful. We are still in 4 competitions. Even if he can't play in the EL he can lighten the load in other matches. We could have another injury crisis or perhaps COVID will strike the squad. Makes no sense to cancel unless we've got someone 99% through the door.

Surely if Alli goes this window it'll be a loan, between him not playing and the pandemic his value must be the lowest it's been since his breakthrough season for us.

Yeah, I don’t expect any of that to happen this month. I’m saying if PSG offered 50 mil I’d take it as you could probably get those 2 with most of the fee.

I think we are going to see a lot of movement in the summer! Jose will fully know who he wants and who he doesn’t now! Also players not getting much time who don’t buy into being a team player will also be gone. I’m not particularly keen on Jose’s playing style at all tbh but I do wonder how good we will be with a full Jose squad

They’ll still owe us money on him and inter are having some financial problems. Knowing levy he’ll be keeping an eye on inter Milan in some respect. If not Eriksen then someone else.
