Here's an example - You're seeing a girl ...and the minute you open your mouth to complain that you've been treated unfairly, then you're obviously a bitter **** who should just walk away and leave their pride smeared across the floor.
No.
F*ck that,
I see there is still a vocal group who believe that the Board haven't strengthened our club with the change of management and consider that they know MORE about MJ's performance behind the scenes than the Board/Levy .
Yep , Jol should be able to cash in further on his Spurs connection .He's only had a 4 mill payoff so needs a few bob .
No , Fair enough, but people should remember that EVERY manager (bar a coupla per cent) get sacked. Its no big deal and is part of the cut and thrust of the very well paid territory.
However, we are Spurs fans and we don't really want anything to negatively affect our club, so lets hope this book won't do that.

Says who?
Kemsley?
Sad to hear that Rocksuperstar!Eekyou hear that she's going around and now saying you have a tiny cock and no friends.
.....these are the real details ...
As the once mighty Spurs were drowning in icy waters, Martin came along in his yacht, picked everyone up and took them to the shore. He fed them, kept them hydrated and helped nurse them back to health, all the while getting lovely telegrams from the squads owners, saying what a superb job he did, thank loads, etc.
Martin pulled his yacht up to the jetty, everyone got off, then up strolled Levy, Kemsley & Comolli, slapped him about a bit, sank his boat, stuffed a wad of notes into his pocket and told him to f*ck off.
I can't be arsed to argue the point anymore - from a fans point of view there are a couple of facts that can't be ignored - Martin came to the job when we were an underachieving club who were making poor signings and going nowhere. He built a system around the team, centering around one particular player who was then sold for what is now turning out to be not as attractive an amount of cash as it seemed. With Carrick gone, the last 12 months of planning was gone and he had to start again. He couldn't find a replacement, changed the system slightly and, once again, managed to drag a 5th place out of us, even without the instrumental Carrick, or anyone even able to play a similar game, the team was built to revolve around, but a few poor performances, a certain visit to Spain, a bit of pressure from the press and now the man who took us from 9th-14th, to the best of the rest and two 5th place finishes, isn't allowed to speak his voice about what happened, less he get accused of sour grapes.
Here's an example - You're seeing a girl for a few months, and are getting on really well apart from a recent "blip". You hear stories of her mate's slating the shit out of you, and people who don't know you and will never likely ever meet you are telling tales about you that you know are bullshit, then you find out that a few weeks before she was out with some other fella, having a few drinks and a good time. You asked her about it, but he was "just a friend" or "just some bloke", then within a fortnight, you hear that she's going around and now saying you have a tiny cock and no friends.
Knowing that your local and the people you've come to know as friends are now all privvy to these slanderous stories, you attempt to save a little face by saying to all these people, in a similar fashion to the Ex's rather poor conduct surrounding the relationship, that it's bullshit and these are the real details of what went on.
Sadly, those people who were your best friend, the ones wanting to buy you drinks not a fortnight before, slapping you on the back for how happy you guys looked together, etc. have decided that you're not that great and are now all arse-snuffling her new fella. The fact you had some great times with them means nothing now and the minute you open your mouth to complain that you've been treated unfairly, then you're obviously a bitter **** who should just walk away and leave their pride smeared across the floor.

F*ck that, Martin Jol has every right to speak his mind, tell his side of the story as part of his biography and any of you calling him a cock for it really need to think har... well, just think to start with, we can work from there
I still find it amazing that fans think this was a PR blunder. The board wanted rid of a popular manager (wrongly IMHO but they make the decisions). Top businessmen do not drop bollox like the one Kelmsley did in Seville meeting Ramos.
I believe it was an orchestrated scheme to undermine Jol and create a ground swell of opinion against him and ultimately unrest..............it worked.
With regard his book, i'm sure it was in the process of being written long before the sacking and I for one will be interested to read Jol's philosophy's etc on football, he's an articulate guy. I'm sure the crap that went on will certainly add a few sales...............good luck to him, it must be an awful feeling knowing you're being conspired against
nothing ill informed at all
if daniel levy says jol touted himself around then jol did
why do i beleive levy?, well it seems very easy for people to beleive every word that ever comes out of jol`s mouth does`nt it, so whats good for the goose etc, etc
so i can not be "ill informed" as you say, because i simply have the same information as you & choose to beleive the chairman instead of our ex manager
secondly to say that you have supported tottenham for 26 years in one breath & in the next say martin jol is the best manager we have had in that time is sheer folly (or tosh).........keith burkinshaw anyone!! (he actually did some winning of silverware whilst manager)
the tosh bit was probably rude, but he is being unjustly rude to daniel levy so balls to him, again whats good for the goose etc,etc
i could go on but there is no point
i suggest rather than slate our chairman we should realise that there are 2 sides to every story & stop slating all together (jol or levy) as it is all in the past
the ignorance of people who just slate levy is so amusing!!
btw terrible post mate, try & add something meaningful to the debate next time!!........(thats rude as well!!)
anyone know why the release of the book seems to have been delayed? no book shop in dublin seems to have it and play.com still has it under 'preorder' even though it was due to be out on 19th
