Amazing watching Bale looking very sharp and very good performances from lamela, alli and vinni. Scarlett looking an exciting prospect. Sort out our defence and things will look a lot brighter. COYS

True but unfortunately Dier and Doherty still look like Dier and Doherty.

Surely it’s worth giving Toby a run in the PL team with Rodon now.

Don't care if this was a below par Austrian team, that was a beautiful watch and it was great to see the attitude and sharpness in some of our more criticized players like Alli (Easily MOTM) and Bale.

Lavinier had some shaky moments the first few minutes but definitely improved as the game went on, Nile has a beautiful touch and Scarlett truly looks like an exciting prospect. Let's continue to build on this! COYS

Dane Scarlett.... 16 years of age ? scored a ton for the youths this season and England

very impressed with the runs he makes and the intensity he pressed with. at this level Ive been much more impressed with him than Troy Parrott.

Bergwijn's gonna finally score, Vinicius will grab a brace, Dele will score a penalty, and Scarlett will notch in the 91st minute.

I know this because I am from the future.
I have not stated in which particular match this will happen.

Happy with that.
Nobody stood out as being terrible, in my view, with good performances by many. Nice cameo from Bale and nice to see Scarlett again, he looks promising from what little we've seen.
Good game from Dele.

No complaints at all.

Generally hate the Europa but games like that are good fun to watch.

No huge pressure, played professionally, some cracking finishes and a few debuts at the end to top it off.

I get what you’re saying and can see your point, but what’s the alternative? We have a player who has shown he can score goals in these games therefore giving Harry a break... what are the other options out there?

Agree but sadly I don't think he has/will do enough for the club to trigger 40mil for him

Realistically when you have Harry Kane, and son is basically his first option to replace him, how much better can we get than what vini has done. 11 goals in minimal time, opposition is poor, but he can’t choose who to play.
He’s phenomenally good in the box, but his overall play is a bit lacking, particularly considering that he’s a decent passer, quick and all that . I’d happily keep him 40m is too much but I suspect they’d sell him for less, the issue is how much less? These Portuguese clubs are very happy to hold out for top dollar.

When you think the video of that Scarlett interview with the U13s was only like 3 years ago, it's unbelievable how young he is but he doesn't look out of place at all. He's swift as well. Apart from whatever the hell Lavinier did right after he came on, all 3 of the kids put in solid cameos. We've definitely got some great young talent coming up.
