This week I’ve been told I speak crap on here. I’ve seen others punctuation pulled up. Some posts being generally rude to others. We are all entitled to our opinion. In the middle of a pandemic / lockdown. Can we not try to be a bit nicer to each other ? COYS
you mean other's punctuation? (sorry, couldnt resist!)

i thought the whole point of SC was that we come on here to talk crap?
Unless someone points out otherwise i work on the assumption that none of us are qualified to opine about football i.e we're all arm-chair warriors with a TV and possibly season tickets rather than qualified football people.
Maybe im wrong?

From what I can see this is one of the friendliest websites out there.

Coys is extraordinarily restrictive but I guess it works for the few in favour of their ways. I go onto the Fighting Cock once in a while. I don't mind it but without any moderation there's a fair amount of abuse and arguing gong on there.

Here we argue and disagree and sometimes go too far. But we're football fans, it's kind of goes with the territory. People get wound up at times, especially during match times.

If there's someone you really don't like discussing with then just don't engage them. Some do that with me and I have a small number of posters who I mentally know not to waste my time on.

Opine? Someone got a dictionary for Christmas! I agree that talking snap is what forums should be about but I agree with the OP that there’s no need to snipe at one another. You idiot.

Wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment, but unfortunately we do have some absolute whoppers on here from time to time that need to be told.

it’s not conducive to a cohesive community but I’d say that overall we’re a far more civilised bunch than other forums. We have a decent set of mods and a self policing community that generally works well. My son, who is on the spectrum, highly intelligent and in his late teens has copped some spiteful shit from a group of people online because he dared to challenge one of the members who has strong affiliations with a political group that want to lower the age of consent. This is a group of men in their late twenties to late forties who have ganged up on a kid in his late teens, and two of them are moderators on the website. It made me realise how lucky we are with Spurs Community. Anyway, he’s left the website, gained some life experience and not compromised his principles either

Pretty sure there's a song about that.

If you like opinecoladas and getting caught in the rain...
Has anyone seen Sum Monsterism's coat?

Oh, it's already been tossed into the street? Good good.

Hope it's obvious that this is just a light-hearted tease.

Thank you. Very flattering but.......along with every other funny post in SC history, bar one, it's not even close!

By the widest of wide margins, the funniest ever post on SC has to be @Nine while nine 's "Ryan Ressegnon?" Scooby Doo post.
I was there. Like the Kennedy assassination, the moon landing or the death of Elvis, I remember exactly what I was doing when Ryan Ressegnon broke
