It’s pretty shocking isn’t it?
Romero on the face of it looks like a good signing, but it’s still too early to declare him an unqualified success. Plus we haven’t actually paid out anything for him yet.
Hojbjerg possibly, considering the modest fee, but still a big downgrade on our midfield of a few years ago.
Reguilon I’m still not totally convinced.
Moura possibly. Llorente I don’t think was a bad signing ( although not necessarily a great fit). Still think Gazzaniga was a better number two than either Hart or Gollini.
I think you probably have to go all the way back to Wanyama to find an unarguable recruitment success.
Really damning stuff when you think about it.
