Agree stop testing too need to live with this ffsIs this going to be the case for the rest of eternity?
Covid isn't going anywhere so if players are asymptomatic, vaccinated and perfectly fine they're going to have to sit out 10 days for the rest of forever?
I imagine at some point in the future we will be able to safely ignore symptomatic positives. But given the new variant, we aren’t there yet.Is this going to be the case for the rest of eternity?

It’s a fucking disgrace mateIs this going to be the case for the rest of eternity?

I'm just bored of it all. If they're vaccinated and feel fine let them play. It's silly that under those scenarios its just like any other sickness (and can be less so if feeling fine and vaccinated) but its treated with such extreme caution. It’s a fucking disgrace mate
Whether or not they feel fine is irrelevant, they can still infect others for up to 10 days which will just spread it furtherIs this going to be the case for the rest of eternity?

Then you don't post it i'm afraid.Wasn’t meant to come across bluntly…. I’ve previously told them who I get info passed from but have never asked for it to be verified
So you're cool with these rules forever then? Anybody can get sick from anything and we have a vaccine that works against it.Whether or not they feel fine is irrelevant, they can still infect others for up to 10 days which will just spread it further
Is he rejoining us?Jan can’t come quick enough
If I had Covid or the flu would you invite me into your home to meet your family if I told you I felt absolutely fine? Why would I want our players to spread an illness throughout the club when they can just stay at home for 10 days, especially when there's a potential option to just suspend the match? So you're cool with these rules forever then? the testing protocols I dont get. Are they getting tested weekly?I'm just bored of it all. If they're vaccinated and feel fine let them play. I suppose I just struggle with the attention to it compared to normal life. I work in an office with 40 people or so, none of us are tested every 3 days, everyone is vaccinated if anyone feels sick we stay home and everyone is perfectly fine.If I had Covid or the flu would you invite me into your home to meet your family if I told you I felt absolutely fine? On the vaccine, it doesn't stop you from getting it nor does it stop you from spreading it so it makes no difference - if our players get it they should follow the same rules as everyone else and self-isolate.
No clue.the testing protocols I dont get. Are they getting tested weekly?
it is what it is. Sucks but these are the times we’re in, hopefully nobody is seriously unwell.
Look what happened to Belenenses v Benfica, they started with 9 players including 2 keepers on the pitch, found themselves 7 nil down at half time with the ref abandoning the match and awarding the win to Benfica after only 6 players came back out for the 2nd half. Portuguese FA said regardless of Covid cases you’ve got to fulfil your matches… they’ve been hammered for it. Wonder what the English FA will do if it’s correct that a hefty chunk of our first team squad is unavailable due to Covid.
