Just caught up on that now. Lots of respect for his stance, but still a hard guy to take as an intellectual.
Take a drink every time he says "irrrmmm"
Its strange. As you say, he's be very hard to follow for a player because he doesn't articulate himself well and I can't imagine him explaining tactics or training sessions very well.
But maybe it's because who he is and maybe when things are more animated, he's inspiring.
Having said that Gerrard is as dull as dish water to listen to yet we all know that he can pump up the energy when needed. Whereas Lampard has a high IQ yet struggled to motivate at Cheslea.
