Would imagine this is more to do with NDombele and Lo Celso leaving (or potentially so), which would leave us short in CM.

The ITK is starting to flow and my hopes are up- hoping for one confirmed signing today (at least)
Moving our players out now is key- hopefully we can start to see/hear news on this asap.

I'm not saying we will sign him, but when fit, he improves us massively.
Raphinha too difficult this late in the window and I'm not even sure we enquired tbh. Looks likely Chelsea will come in for him this summer.

Yeah I'm sure we'll be negotiating right until the end and some late offers will come in for our players. Everton and Dele feels an obvious one.
Now we supposedly have two in the bag I'm more confident of Conte getting his 3 or 4 new options that should keep him happy and give us a good boost for top 4.

Given Dembele’s rumoured contract demands at Barca, I wonder what a deal for him looks like. Loan with Barca paying half his wages (rather than just paying all his wages to no register/play him).
I remember really wishing we picked him up when he was at Rennes, and there’s clearly a fantastic player in there when fit, but that _when_ does so much carrying. I saw something along the lines of him having completed 90 minutes less than 20 times at Barca, that’s a pretty worrying state of fitness

And that is in the Spanish league nevermind the Premier League, I'm confident we wont sign him, if we get close Chelsea or United will come in but i feel his wages are far beyond us, still we are looking good for a decent January window.

Based on what I heard on Friday, and without breaking my word to Guinevere, we've still got a number of irons in the fire that are independent of getting the Juve pair, ranging (based on my opinion of the players) from underwhelming, through solid, to spectacular. Hitchen working on a couple of youngsters but hope isn't high for getting those deals done in Jan. Some parameter-establishing work for the summer window also being done, including on the young HG front. FP still very (though not entirely) Mediterranean-centric in outlook, which is a concern to some at the club, but is fine with AC for now.

We’re at an all you can eat buffet, so far weve only decided on a couple of dishes and still considering what else to have from the mountain of food on offer??
Also we need to think about not eating too much otherwise we’ll be full and could miss out on some delightful dishes being offered up in a few months time…

I think the second part is important. We shouldnt just take any player who is offered to us because in the summer we will be able to get better options.
