This was not the end to the window I, or many of us, saw coming.

O.Dembele is an interesting one because there’s no doubt he’s a huge talent.

Has he shown to be worth the 105M Barça allegedly paid for him? No. But that doesn’t make him worthless.

If he’s available in a cut-price deal and would be likely to want to play for us, we should absolutely go for it. Barcelona will definitely want him off the books given their financial situation, so subsidising his wages and/or a low fee may be things they’re more open to than usual.

Also interesting to see that Lo Celso, Ndombele, Bryan are all close to the door - you’d have to think that if we are going to allow them all to leave, along with Dele and Rodon, perhaps Doherty as rumoured, then we have to have irons in the fire which we can call in at short notice as VY said.

Exciting 24 hours ahead, chaps. Let’s hope we’re happy with the outcomes.

I’ve not been following this as rabidly the last couple of days as ive been battling COVID. Woke up this morning to a LOT of movement and possible movement.

After the Diaz hijack, id pretty much given up on this window. Not blaming anyone, it just sucked the enthusiasm outta me.

These new developments have mitigated that a bit, and I’m allowing myself a little optimism.

Thanks to ALL the ITK merchants for all the updates. Its much appreciated!

Re. All you can eat buffet - if we structure deals, so that we also have an option in the summer (Vinicius style) then it can still work surely? Bit shitty I reckon, but that’s modern football.

As the transfer window draws to a dramatic climax, just a friendly reminder to donate even a little to SC

A lot of us have spent the last month clicking F5 waiting on ITK updates, whilst passing the time posting a fair amount of cr*p, but sadly the forum can't run on our bullsh*t alone.

Just sent a little £20 in acknowledgment of the work that is going on behind the scenes.

Thanks to the ITK for keeping us updated, despite our frequent toy throwing when things aren't going to our own imagined plans.

Buckle in and check the first post to donate if not done so already.

UPDATE!
Certain ‘out’ players been told in no uncertain terms, best to find a loan or another club, as not part of plans, and not likely to feature in the squad.

Still couple possibilities for ‘ins’ dependent on the outs in loans/transfers.

Some outstanding opportunities have risen! Will definitely appease our recent disappointments. If we can pull one out of two off. If we can’t it definitely will be done in summer. We have money! Let’s see.

Names bern kept away from me. But will confirm if made public.

Thanks Herc, potentially very exciting 30 hours ahead of us. Doubt I’ll be getting much work done tomorrow. Great to hear the club being decisive with those that don’t fit in our future plans.

what is great about Herc's post is that it shows that the club has a plan, has money and is acting decisively especially for the outs. It also sounds as if it a buyer's market at the end of the window is where the best deals can happen if one is patient and flexible. Sounds like opportunism more than desperate. Thanks Herc

Looking forward to tomorrow now. Please keep it clean lads as probably have my carers reading this thread to me.
Given the whinging, moaning and jizz comments thus far. You might need to let someone know your address, so that we can get preemptive apology flowers on order ??

Back on topic it’s very interesting that some exciting options are becoming available now. It’s hard to see who they may be, but it very much fits the ITK all the way through that options would become available at the end of the window and thats when the business would be done

delighted if we get Bentancur, less keen on the Ginge- even though he could be anything.

If we were gonna sign another forward I really wanted it to be someone With physical presence who could also play through the middle.

if Kane goes over we have little chance of CL.
I’ve seen a number of comments in the past that think the ginge is THE big deal in Sweden, not Isak so I’m excited to see his potential. It does look a bit too heavy though with him son, berg, Gil and Lucas. 5 into 2 is tricky even with rotation. Swap Gil for dare I say dembele and I still think one has to go

Gil is going on loan. Doubt we’ll get another WF type player in unless Bergwijn goes to Ajax. Hoping we’re getting competition for Kane up top. Two players for each position.

Only just being told? Up to the players to find themselves a new home? ?

Players need to realise if they don’t leave they won’t get picked. It’s a World Cup year. For example. Lo Celso needs to find a club he does want to go to if he won’t got to the clubs we’ve accepted a loan proposal from.

Already messaged the manager of my care package provider & told her I don't want any of my visits to be longer than 20 minutes tomorrow.
