Also hope this is the season Marco Silva proves he’s a good manager - the perfect storm of Watford/Everton I think has sullied him but he’s a smart coach.

I really like him. Think he is an excellent manager. The issue is he has an Eddie Howe about him i.e. great attacking play but defensively suspect. Howe though proved last season he has honed his tactics somewhat (except against us).

Mm. You could see at Hull that he can coach a team that really should’ve been nowhere near survival and he’s just made some bad choices. Limited but much better than Parker/Jokanovic.

See i like both of those you mentioned too and I do think Parker will be a good manager but he is too risk averse.

I can see a Southampton getting in Silva at some point.
