Commentary talking about inconsistency, the fact is we have been consistent, consistently shit, and even awful players (our backline) can have a decent game now and again, hence last weekend. You get more inconsistency when you have lower-ability players like us so its inevitable and will always be the case with player slike Dier, Davies, Sanches, Sessegnon, Royal etc etc

Sigh maybe a Poch return is what is needed.

He will at least know which players need to go from past years.

A new coach would probably be told by Levy that he needs to get the best out of some of this shite that has been stinking the place out.

Everyone knows Conte is stubborn so teams know exactly how we’ll play and can set up to dominate our weak areas (2 CMs / high WBs).

the reason we are good against City is because Pep is the only manager as stubnorn as Conte - but luckily for us - their game plan suits out counter attack.
Do we even do that anymore?

Levy I don't understand why people have the perception the club don't spend money and back managers.

Forster
Tangana
Dier
Davies
Perisic

Put your agenda away for 30 seconds. How you think any manager would be any better with the clowns we have in defence beggars belief. But yeah let's change the manager for the 397th time eh, it will work this time ?

Except those clowns recently kept 3 consecutive clean sheets including against the best team in the country.

Maybe it's more complicated than this same old line people always say after we lose.

Dropping Emerson after his performance against City is gross negligence, especially when we’re also missing our only competent centre back. Romero + Porro would be harsh on Emerson but Tanganga + Porro is a disaster in the making. I’m all for Porro eventually coming into the side but not in these circumstances.

I’m not calling for Conte’s head, but would anyone actually be that bothered if he left?

Why should we be bothered about someone who doesnt really give a damn about the job and is quite conditional on him staying. Its conditional isnt it - its absurd. This is why some want Poch back, someone who has an emotional attachment to the club, which he clearly has. We all need to have that connection again with the club, right now, we dont.
