I don't think anybody has doubted his raw talent, quite the contrary. Taraabt is a fantastic dribbler of the ball, that much is obvious, he also has an incredible amount of confidence/arrogance about his own ability.Taarbart is the new ZeeZoo. The boy is absolute class, surprised people can't see his blatant talent.

Taarabt is a really tricky one.
I don't think it would be a good idea to send him on loan to the Championship. He'd be playing with teammates who are far inferior to him technically, and I suspect it would encourage his worst trait: his tendency to ignore his teammates and back his own ability to dribble past the opposition solo.
Also, given we've lost the jewel of our Academy, Terry Dixon, to a terrible knee injury, I'm not a big fan of the idea that, crudely, "once he gets kicked a few times he'll pass the ball more often".
We all know what the issue is. Taarabt has to accept that football is a team game, and that he has to play to a team shape and philosophy, only taking men on when it's the best option for the team. It's like a drug addict. There's no point in sending them to rehab until they decide, in their own mind, that they want to be clean. Taarabt has to decide he wants to play for the team. Until then, Ramos won't pick him.
If Taarabt is showing no sign of getting it, and we want to keep his registration, then I would loan him out to a technical league, such as La Liga. He probably would get playing time at a bottom half La Liga side, as well as getting the team ethic drilled into him relentlessly.
But while those are both good qualities for a young footballer, they're also his downfall. He plays like a schoolboy, just running around as many players as he can before trying to shoot, only passing when he has no alternative.
This is from the last reserve game where he assisted for Peckhart and scored. His run for Peckharts goal is class. Was supposedly motm in this game by a country mile.

I really hope he stays and plays because he looks awesome.
Because he simply isn't good enough yet. When he is up to the required standard Ramos will play him.
He could find a dead end in a desert.
im not saying he is the next zidane but he is hands down the most skillfull player in the squad and may be able to create 1 or things in a tight game.
Taarabt is as defensive minded as Ginola used to be and simply doesn't offer enough going forward to be that sort of luxury player. He tries to beat the same player 3 times, hasn't shown any ability to pass incisively and hasn't covered himself in glory in front of goal. And that's not just in the few first team appearances it's in the reserves aswell.
He's got talent but at the moment hasn't shown that he can use it effectively. Hopefully he can sort it out...but if he doesn't he won't be ousting anyone from the team any time soon.
Personally, I think he's at a similar stage to Ronaldo when he first joined United
He's a skillful player, and I love watching him, but Ramos isn't going to want someone to play around and do fuck all.
Why not play him over steed for a couple of games? Give him a chance, it might even show him up, it'll make him work harder if he's shit in the first team.
I really hope to see Taarabt play 15 mins in every game until the end of the season. I think he needs to learn more teamplay, but he is a special talent, and deserves his chance.
Cristiano Ronaldo was also very ego at first, but now he is a complete player. Taarabt is not the same as Ronaldo, but he has many of the same movements and skills as him. He needs more time, and the more he plays in the first team, the more he adapts, and learns.

Ramos should start to introduce him abit more, maybe next season we ll see more of him. The encouraging thing is that Ramos seems to pick him for many of his squads even if he doesn't start him.
Taarabt has been in the exact same position since we signed him. I really can't see him stepping up now.
watch out lads, this one is very talented.
Adel Taarabt FC doesn't do it for me. Until ATFC learns how to do that then there's seriously no hope for him.
I've been uncharacteristically harsh on him, but only because some have offered him up as our Messiah - particularly on the left.
He has bags and bags of talent, but untill he can apply that to a team game then unfortunately he's a no go for me. I can't be doing with a player who has to beat them same man 4 times before putting the ball out of play when we really need a goal.
on Tarrabt, he has soo much raw ability, if we could mould him and nurture him right he could be a world beater!
I know he's far from being the finished article, but at times today he seemed to be the only only moving into space and making effort to do something!! He also did some accurate passes, which quite a few of our players were having trouble with today = loss of posession!!!!
Keep him and work on him!!
The guy is 18! Yeah he lost the ball on a number of occasions but he showed more ambition in his 30 mins than anyone else did in 90!
Yes but not difficult on todays display by about 8 of our side. Yes he's 18 and has a few tricks but he's miles and miles away from a player capable of playing in a side looking to challenge the top 4.

And Huddlestone is?
Taarabt can become a great player. Like Nedley has said, he showed more invention in his 30 minute cameo, then the whole of our midfield combined. Yes, he fucked up for their 4th, no if's or but's, he fucked up. However, the boy is a very good prospect.
