I personally think that Taarabt will be on of the greates players in French football history. He is only 18 but already shown great skills and ability to play on PL level. Give him a season and he will be first XI regular.

Roflcopterz. That's probably the most ridiculous piece of writing I've ever seen. And I even bought The Sun once.

No offence of course. Well, some, obviously.

He's nothing like Zidane though, thats the problem. Just because he's French Algerian and has good skills does not make him the new fucking Zidane. Zidane was a genius. As the article accepts, Taarabt suffers from a lack of onfield intelligence. How could you possibly compare someone who plays like a fucking downy to the greatest player of his generation???

well, I didnt actually use a phrase "HE IS LIKE ZIDANE", now did I?

FYI, Taarabt is 18 at the moment. Zidane was 24 when he started playing for Juve... And then he got even better. I think Taarabt has got potential and talent to be ONE OF THE BEST FRENCH FOOTBALLERS.

got the difference?

don't see how you can have seen enough of him to say he 'could' be the best.

I have seen enough to say he has plenty iof talent to be a good player for Spurs in the future, if he can improve his team game, but one of the best? no, I don't see any of that yet.

Taarabt isnt ready for first team football with us as Ramos knows which is why he hasnt started any games for us yet! Yes he has got lots of nice flicks and tricks and potential but thats all it is at the moment! There was very little end product yesterday to most things he did!
I really think he needs to be loaned out next season to a premiership team or top championship team to give him experience and lets see what he can do then! I dont think another season in our reserves will serve him much purpose!

I don't think anyone would want him to be honest. Why loan him out? just stick him in the reserves for his games.

Yep, some make it, some don't. It helped Joe Cole that he was at West Ham at a time when they were almost the English Ajax - their entire set up involved bringing kids from an excellent youth set up into the first team. We're trying to chase the CL and it wll be a lot more difficult for us to take risks on youngsters. If our coaching staff see a future for Taarabt, this is the best opportunity they will have to give him some proper PL experience.

As has been said before, I don't think loaning him to the Championship will help him at all - maybe a lower PL team next season, but if he plays with shit players it will only exaggerate his 1-man-team mentality.

English Ajax at West Ham,your having a laugh:rofl:
Ajax won the CL in 1995 with a youth set up,Dutch football is nothing like the EPL.
Remember, West Ham got relagated with J cole in the side.

True, a team with Carrick, Cole, Defoe and Kanoute went down. Their defence was fucking woeful though. I watched them get spanked by Newcastle early on in that season. And how I laughed.

'English Ajax' is over-gilding the lily, but there's no doubt that for a time they did have a superb youth set-up. If they were lucky in attracting a large number of quality kids, and wasted/sold them, it doesn't negate the fact that they were trying to emulate Ajax, and succeeded to a point.

Tarrabt will never be any good. He has a terrible attitude and of low footballing intelligence (he's a clown). With him and Bent and Lennon on the pitch not tackling back, it was like having only 7 outfield players. The Grim Reaper is sharpening his scythe

Taarabt has the ability for sure to be a World Class player but it is far to early in his career to be labelling him the 2nd coming for France etc...
