The most telling thing for me is the lack of quality attacking options off the bench though. Perisic would have been great to come on in a game like this one. Those close games can often be decided by impact subs but we're really light due to the players missing.For me, the biggest negative was that we still have no idea how to break down a packed defence. Worldies aside, I mean. We had a lot of good, controlled possession around the edge of their box, but no obvious tactics for that situation. It's not as though it isn't a common situation for us...
