He can also play central defence or as a full back so is he left or right footed???

I'm really excited by this signing! Not that I know anything about the dude but he sounds exactly like what we need and we got him for dirt cheap compared to the overhyped Schneiderlin.

If you look at his attributes and the fact that Marseille were after him (Bielsa) I'm pretty sure Poch is well aware of him. He has the exact qualities needed for Poch's style.
Also although some people aren't big fans of DL I can't see him suddenly forcing an unwanted player on the manager instead of Schneiderlin. He's not daft and with all the positivity about the club, the early season results he will want to keep the head coach happy.
Despite what some say Daniel does support new managers as well as he can. He'll not throw stupid money around but he invested in the Arnesen/Santini summer and bought back Keane, Defoe and Kaboul when Harry wanted them and deliverd a last minute present of VdV. Sherwood even said DL wanted to spend money last January but he (Sherwood) declined the offer. We might only have spent what we brought in but I think it's been well spent.
Vorm - much needed back up in Hugo's style
De Yedlin - young, pact right back bought to develop
Davies - young international to provide solid competition for a problem position
Fazio - Hard bastard with strengths we don't currently have in this position and an upgrade on captain Daws
Dier - looking like a bargain already
Stambouli?? - Midfielder in the mould of Schneiderin who Poch developed from an £8mill player to £20mill plus
Poch will totally have been consulted and approved all these purchases

I still think we may have a new wide forward in before the end of deadline day with Andros off
Which attributes?

Just watched a video of him. He looks very elegant, and shares Modric like qualities on the ball

Have we actually signed this bloke yet, or are we still waiting for him to decide if he's going to join us or the other lot?

If this means Sandro will be going, I will be extremely sad as not only is he a fan favourite but at his best he is as good as any DM in the World, and it seemed like he was starting to regain some actual fitness in our last game.

On Stambouli, I can't recall ever watching him, but I hope for the best with him.

Sounds like he just gotta decide but reports have come out this morning saying he's picked us, but not worthy of a Stoof stamp just yet.

Isn't it we have reached an agreement to sign him with the club? So contract maybe and also medicle still to be done?

I have PTS when a fee is agreed with a club but a medical is yet to be done..... Hopefully he won't get lost on the way to us

It says:

"
Le MHSC et Tottenham Hotspur FC ont trouvé un accord concernant le transfert de Benjamin Stambouli. Ce dernier devrait se rendre à Londres dans les prochaines heures pour y passer la visite médicale et finaliser son contrat.
"

Translated: MHSC & THFC have reached agreement concerning the transfer of BS. The latter must make himself available in London in the next few hours to pass the medical & finalize his contract"

... @mark_2017 - no mention of Fiorentina on the Montpellier site at all

Montpellier least resources of major French teams and they have won the league and generally kicked above their weight last few years. Very happy we have a part of the Languedoc in Tottenham High Street

Hence why I said apparently. If the deal was done, knowing what Montpellier have announced I'm sure we would have officially announced it too. It's one thing not announcing a done deal when the other club haven't either, but when they they say a deal has been agreed? If you look at how quick we announced the Sig, Davies and Vorm deals after Swansea did, I'm sure we would have done the same if with this one if it was a done deal.

Don't know. We announce stuff when we want, don't we? We announced Fazio before Seville were ready, we still haven't announced Verts new contract
