I have done my cruciate ligament 3 times if it was that

He wouldn't have gone off like he did let me tell you gas and air job.

Maybe cartilage or something but not his cruciate as he would be needing gas and air
Hard to tell. While I was initially in shock when I rupture my acl and tore my mcl and meniscus, I walked off the pitch with help and then drove my manual car home from the game. I didn't realize I had done all that until I woke up in the middle of the night with my knee locked in position from the swelling.

Knees are incredibly hard to judge. If he's stubborn like me, he won't really know how bad it is until tomorrow (or a scan).

ISIS have decapitated me 4 times. It's a struggle on chilly mornings but I get through it.

It's better to take precautions. I've switched Microsoft Word of late, after getting a papercut using pen and paper.

As for Verthongen, I noticed that he was holding the Palace player prior to the elbow and fall. Doesn't excuse the elbow, of course.

Jan had a funny joke to tell him.

It was about his mum's hymen.

Apart from the time he was on the turf with physio checking his knee obviously??
Oh and the time not long before when he was holding his knee? ;-p
But he was concussed so probably thought he had a bad knee even though he doesn't

Then so should Alli (Cabaye).

No, Alli's foul on Cabaye was a lot sneakier and would leave enough doubt for there not to be any possibility of retrospective action. He does those types of fouls well and it's good we've got a few players that like to leave a foot it now and again - I'd put Dier and Lamela in that category as well.

Wickham's was a stupid foul, not subtle at all and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a 6 game ban for it.

Tore my ACL, MCL and half a knee cartilage playing football at uni. Played on for a while but then it gave way again, two months post op now. Let's hope Jan hasn't done anything like that, wouldn't wish it on anyone... Except wilshere, the dick

the stamp on Cabaye that Pardew talked about, must of been confused with the stamp Alli received on his thigh by the defender..cos i didnt see Alli stamp on him, maybe knee him in the shoulder inadvertently..

Really hope he hasn't done any damage. Together with Toby they have been superb at the back for us. Will be a big miss.

I did my cruciate, admittedly I walked off the pitch, even tried to come back on and play on with some strapping round it, however I knew very well at the time something serious was wrong. Tried to comeback twice playing on it, before eventually getting proper medical advice, ultimately a full reconstruction.
In the days of modern medicine and footballing medical services, I don't for one second believe Vertonghen has gone off with something that serious and still so vague/casual in his tweet. Maybe some cartilage or minor ligament damage, but cannot see it being ACL rupture.

I never said it was ACL... PCL happens from a twisted knee and can be anywhere between 1-6 months out...
