What's going on here then? Haye not acknowledging the injury. Was it all fake. Feels somewhat odd.[/QUOTE
Haye had the piss taken out off him for blaming the klitchko defeat on a broken toe

If that was true he'd be milking it afterwards, not playing it downThink Haye was faking it to be honest. He doesn't care about his record anymore, he just wants to spin money by generating interest in a rematch. It's all been a marketing exercise by him. Leg stuff looked fake as fuck to me and it was like he was actually trying to get himself knocked out but Bellew doesn't have it in him to knock out a HW
Maybe you should take a minute to cool off, ya stinking potty mouth.
Nah it was real, you could tell.Think Haye was faking it to be honest. He doesn't care about his record anymore, he just wants to spin money by generating interest in a rematch. Bellew would have beat him anyway
Completely agree, it's a hollow win really, I'm just not show how much of the media will play into the fact that the injury completely changed the fight. Going on the post match commentary and such they seem to be focusing on the fact that the underdog just pulled off a massive shock, obviously ignoring the actual story of the fight.
It's also almost impossible to sell a fight when the fighters are pally pally in the build up etc
Same happens in UFC.
It's all about the promotion

I think that is exactly what happened. Haye is a very clever guy.
Is it fuck. The reason Haye got injured is because he hasnt fought for so long and partied. Which is what Bellew said would happen.
Bellew would have won either way
Nah bollocks.
Why would haye fake name injury to get a rematch then act all lovey dovey with Bellew when the very thing that generated the interest in the first place was the hatred between the two.
Because he wants the rematch to be a romantic tickle fight, obviously.
Indeed. In a lot of cases I think there is genuine dislike but both fighters always just seem to run with it for the duration of the build up. Not all fighters are the same, but I actually think for the sake of their performance, a lot of fighters would rather use a bit of dislike in the build up as motivation for better preparation in camp and to just drive them that bit more.

Hayes got 2 maybe 3 rounds max for a KO
