Partied?? Are you serious haye looked in great shape. Injuries happen especially to a 35 year old boxer with a long list of previous injuries

To be fair, Haye always looks great - AJ is similar in that he is incredibly well conditioned and carved from marble - but looking great and being in ring shape are different things, man. Haye was rusty, twinked his ankle, that's all it was.

If Bellew genuinely thinks Haye is the hardest puncher he's come across, probably true as he's not a heavyweight, he'll change his opinion IF he fights Joshua.

Mate of mine told me the fight was free on Sky 872...

It was worse than I could imagine, told the Mrs to stop what we was watching (GoT.s1 rerun) and got her to turn over the telly for me.

Eyebrows were raised. LOL. I'll get the bastard back, we've only been mate's for 46 years or so.

Bellew completely ran out of stream if haye wasn't on one leg he would have lost

Haye ran out of steam so bad his achilles snapped. Injury is your body saying slow down. Its amazing how Haye manages to milk/fraud the mainstream fans over and over.

Can't believe people actually think Haye faked it so he could get battered to just get a rematch :ROFLMAO:

If he was only in it for the money surely it would be better to win the fight and he could have a bigger fight after

Bellew isn't stupid enough to fight Joshua. Can't see that ever happening.

That joke's been doing the round for ages - i remember falling for it round a mates a long time ago, and we all agreed that if we ran Babestation, we'd put on a foxy-boxing match to synch up with the main event. Bet you'd get a fair audience if it's £17 a fight now :D

It's also almost impossible to sell a fight when the fighters are pally pally in the build up etc
Same happens in UFC.
It's all about the promotion

Joshua-Klitschko sold 90,000 tickets quicker than Haye-Bellew sold 20,000. Pre-fight hostilities are only deployed to sell matches where there are doubts over the quality.

Exactly what I was going to say. To go out this way was probably the way to generate the least interest in his next fight. The outlook is completely different now, had he won they'd be saying when's Joshua but now they're going to have people wondering if he's washed up.

Christ it was like they'd been taking E with the love in they were having at the end there.

Fair play to Haye, didn't think he'd be quite that humble.

Hes used excuses so much in the past he couldnt do it again or his reputation would be ruined forever. He should have showed the same courage against Kilt and Fury x 2

Embarrassing night for British boxing, from start to finish. An old, injured ( before the fight started, it got worse halfway through ) Haye fighting one of the worst strap holders in cruiserweight history, being hyped as much as this and ultimately shown on ppv? Pathetic.

Honestly, Daniel Dubouis, a 0 fight novice pro would knock both out.

Sky, your pundits and match room should all hang their heads in shame. Like showing a league one game and insisting it's champions league standard.
