Does anyone know if Darren Lewis of Daily Mirror fame is a Spammer. He was on Talksport earlier and he seemed to deflect any criticism of the West Ham board and instead was rather nauseatingly complimentary of them.
He's Liverpool, but he's now more or less West Ham's go to guy when it comes to getting stuff out in the press, been like it for a while.

Not for the first time, West Ham's subs prove they're not up to the job.

To be fair, though, Hotspur is a massive seven letters long and does have more than one syllable.

And it is the only word they've spelt wrong.

Anyway, COME ON YOU PSURS!

You know that almost all averagely intelligent people can look at a word or sentence that has letters in the wrong place and work out work it means? Most West Ham fans are still trying to work out who they're playing.

Was your error intentional?

After the result against Hull, and with the threat of relegation getting nearer, West Ham fans who have bought season tickets up front are starting to get worried that they've paid PL prices for Championship football.

So, one fan asks David Gold the following...

Mark‏@Stanwhu1 24m24 minutes ago

@davidgold if we are relegated what percentage refund will we get back from our already renewed season tickets ?

To which another West Ham fan replies....

  1. Replying to @Stanwhu1 @davidgold
  2. Mark, knowing these fraudsters, they'll increase the price of them as there will be more games!!

My target at the beginning of the season to get twice as many points as them is getting closer.
It's a shame that West Ham got a few lucky undeserved wins earlier this season.
If they don't win vs Sunderland or Swansea, they could drop back into the relegation fight. Probably unlikely but it could be that losing to Hull today gives Hull a chance of escape.

He'll be sacked by the end of the season and they'll go all out to bring Brendan Rodgers back from Scotland. With his ego he'll probably believe he can make them champions, this will result in a few seasons of even more laughter as they film the documentary, 'Being West Ham'.

Just looking at their fixtures, them going down isn't beyond the realms of possibility. They still have us, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton to play, as well as tricky games like Stoke and Burnley away. They have Swansea and Sunderland coming up soon and if they drop points in either of those games they'll be in big trouble.

No way they should be going down with that squad - they are better than at least three other teams on paper. But it would be hilarious.

their run-in looks dreadful:

Arsenal A
Swansea H
Sunderland A
Everton H
Stoke A
Tottenham H
Liverpool H
Burnley A

Still to play four out of current top 7
Their last 10 games' form equates their season's form with 1.1 point per game
Would be amazing if they take more than 9 points from their remaining 8 matches finishing on 42 points which will be enough to keep them up this season. But they may comfortably stay up even with two more wins finishing on 39 pts. Beat Swansea and Sunderland and they may not bother to play at all.
Such is the dross below them. Alas...

On KUMB:

Hertha Berlin just announced their intention to build a new (football!) ground as it's not tenable for them to play in a rented athletics stadium in the long run. Oh, the irony.

Times have changed. Italian, German and eastern European clubs are moving out of athletics stadiums, we're the only ones (voluntarily) moving into one.

QPR also moved into White City Stadium (the 1908 Olympic Stadium) twice, once in the 1930s and again in the 1960s before promptly moving out again a couple of seasons later. History says that football clubs moving into athletics grounds isn't desirable and it doesn't work.

Espanyol played in a purpose built 40,000 seater stadium in Barcelona, a stadium that hosted 3 games in the 82 world cup,due to financial problems they sold their ground to property developers and moved to the Olympic stadium in 1997, this was unpopular with the fans, and after 12 years moved to a purpose built 41,000 seater football stadium,i hope the same for us, the bowl is not a football stadium.

Oh ****.

Now I am really depressed about putting up with the damn thing for a lifetime.

I wish we had a crystal ball to see how this all pans out.
