They shouldn't go down as the teams below them will keep them safe, but I think they will be relying on that rather than getting out if it themselves this season.

Mind you, if they lose to Arsenal and then Swansea, the pressure will be on and I don't think they've got a lot of bottle in that squad.

Had a browse around KUMB, one of their ITKs saying Slav is a dead man walking. Inferences about owners cashing in on Payet & not releasing cash for players. Real hate for Sullivan. Confessions of a anti-OSer and how he hates the stadium. Others saying it's bad but it's what we got, live with it. They are confident that the stadium makes £12M more per annum than Boylen but can't believe they have no money for a top striker. They also refer to A. Carroll as a £15M buy but I thought he was £35M or is that what Liverpool paid for him?

All in all a pleasant read.

their run-in looks dreadful:

Arsenal A
Swansea H
Sunderland A
Everton H
Stoke A
Tottenham H
Liverpool H
Burnley A

Still to play four out of current top 7
Their last 10 games' form equates their season's form with 1.1 point per game
Would be amazing if they take more than 9 points from their remaining 8 matches finishing on 42 points which will be enough to keep them up this season. But they may comfortably stay up even with two more wins finishing on 39 pts. Beat Swansea and Sunderland and they may not bother to play at all.
Such is the dross below them. Alas...

It wont suprise me if turn the goons over tbh

Not for the first time, West Ham's subs prove they're not up to the job.

To be fair, though, Hotspur is a massive seven letters long and does have more than one syllable.

And it is the only word they've spelt wrong.

Anyway, COME ON YOU PSURS!

35m was Liverpool's fee yes, WHAM got him for around 15m.

Not sure I agree with you there mate

Crystal Palace are doing what Big Sam does, and thats get away from the bottom 3

Swansea and Hull have been in good form, swansea are over reliant on Llorente who was injured this week

Burnley have the added advantage of being great at home

West Ham's home form isn't the best

The next two games will be huge for Swansea, they need to get a point from Arsenal and have to win against Swansea. Come wednesday they will potentially be 3 points ahead of Hull and hopefully 5 points ahead of Swansea

Pretty sure Liverpool had to throw in a saddle as a sweetener.

Newcastle must have given us a saddle and a barn for taking sissy off their hands!

The barn door will have been in mint condition too!

Knowing them slimy soap dodgers, they'll get the point they need to stay up against us, then go on to celebrate like they've won the league.

I think the relegation battle is almost as interesting as the top 4 battle this year. Palace's run in is very difficult, as are West Hams last 3 games. Sunderland look down already, but they still have to play West Ham, Middlesbrough, Swansea and Hull, so could still turn it around with a miracle or at least play a part in which other teams go down.

The Vodafone stadium

My first thought was why would Vodafone want to associate themselves with West Ham. The team get a dodgy reception from the crowd, the midfield offer poor quality service, the captain is the antithesis of 'mobile' and the striker is more GG than 4G. They're not particularly great when it comes to roaming in Europe either.

But then it clicked. Vodafone are advertising to a stadium full of gullible idiots who've previously shown that they're more than happy to hand over large amounts of cash to a bunch of dodgy salesmen on the promise of getting something shiny, new and special when, in reality, what they're getting is a lot worse than what they had before. Now that's what I call clever marketing.

The Club disconnecting themselves from the fans again. Should set up a phone helpline for them.

Just reading this Vodafone story in the Evening Standard

Is that £20m a year for 6 years or £20m for the 6 years? If its the latter £20m over 6 years seems pretty shit...Still maybe with some external cash, the LLDC will stop raping the tax payer.

At least it won't be called the London stadium which will fuck up a lot of West Hams branding :D

It looks like £20m over 6 years, which is why it all goes to LLDC. Maybe Vodafone is gambling on West Ham being relegated and the stadium being used exclusively for nice things by people who like it.

The first 4m a year of any naming rights will go the Legacy Committee. Anything made beyond that is shared 50/50. Given shockingly bad deal LLDC got from West Ham, there should be no surprise if the Vodafone deal is secured below market value.
