There is a direct correlation between the number of people bemoaning our transfer window in this thread and our final league position. Keep it up boys and the league is ours!

Poch said he wanted 3/4 - he got 5 (Gazzaniga, Sanchez, Foyth, Aurier, Llorente) so he will be happy but cant help but feel same old for us....

Sorry but aurier just replaced the pace we had with Walker but without the EPL experience. The CB is an upgrade I guess on Wimmer? Again young and no epl experience. Llorente I would say is an upgrade on Jenson. So all in all I would say ok window but not great. Pace in my opinion desperately needed and again we fall short.
Hopefully Rose back soon and I guess if NKD wasn't linked with anyone poch must think he has some chance of playing this season.

We handled our business in Defense very well, but if it is only Llorente we haven't adress our lack of pace and creativity. But lets wait and see...

Can't force players to sign for us, or a club to sell/loan .

We've done some fairly good deals to tweak our good team

Need to chill your bones lads, Rose and Aurier both offer us incredible pace and almost play as wingers in our system! Great squad, great window, Sanches and Aurier will be huge for us. would be even better if we could sneak RB over the line in the final hour!

If someone had asked what areas needed strengthening before the window, AM and WF would have been the 2. What hurts the most is getting our hopes up for this 'mystery player' and positive itk that never materializes

My thinking is Jehovah links to Barkley.
Moses likened Jehovah leading his tribes out of Egypt to that of an Eagle rounding up and shepherding its young. (Thats what Moses thought anyway).
The Eagle is the logo for Barclays Bank. Barclay=Barkley.

If no Barkley or Gomes we haven't actually signed a single player to help the midfield. Llorente is an improvement on Jannsen yes and Sanchez will improve the defence. Aurier replaces Walker fine. All that is great and technically improving the squad. But we've got no Eriksen back up or Dele/Son back up and next in line is Sissoko.

The whole point of this window for me before we sold Walker was buying attacking midfield impact players and we're ending it without anyone. We seriously better hope for Lamela coming back asap cos we're threadbare short in that area, there's no other way of seeing it.
