Happy. Decent window. Not perfect but no panic buys either. 6 months for Edwards to force his way into the squad and we might not need a pacy winger.

The squad for our defensive units (when all fit) is the best in the league.

Lloris,
Aurier/Trippier. (upgraded)
Toby/Verts/Sanchez (upgraded)
Rose/Davies (will be stronger when Rose gets fit)
Dier/Dembele/Wanyama ) solid as you like - Ross Barkley would have a hard time dislodging any of them.

Thats' pretty damn good and strengthened.

The final third (that we're all moaning about)

Lamela (when fit is a new buy)
N'Kou (he'll get there if he gets more game time)
Sissoko (The odd one - I wish he'd gone)

BUT

Eriksen, Allí, Son, Kane, Llorente, Janssen (department has been upgraded)

And then some excellent young players to bring in:
Winks, Kyle Walker Peters, Marcus Edwards and Anthony Georgia (who is very close to making first team appearances - amazing potential - but because he's not at Monaco - no one talks about him!))

So, yup - we all feel we need a pacy outplayer or an Isco - but someone of that quality (Salah) - did not seem to be out there available (please correct me if you think we missed out on....who?)

People slating Levy & MoPo or saying MoPo has the hump are way off the mark. What spurs are doing is BUILDING a team, building a squad and it takes time to find the right players to do this or you bring them in through the ranks - we're getting there - be patient people!! We did what we could in this transfer window - No shite buys and we strengthened and bought some great talent (Juan Foyth).

We don't go around throwing 40million at the Ox, 50million at Walker (LOL) 75million Lukaka etc.

We do it the Spurs way - Like Ajax do it the Ajax way - and I love it, Levy & MoPo!

COYS!

Sanchez is the back up (replacing Wimmer). Foyth is a youth signing but including him in the list makes little difference. I also didn't mention Chelsea signing Zappacosta and possibly Drinkwater.

If you think Sanchez is gonna come here to be a back up your gonna be pleasantly surprised. He is unreal.

Not a bad window at all. Don't actually think that any of the players we were linked with could actually be considered a "gamechanger", but perhaps it's a very subjective term.

Window Summary :

Kept our key players
Bought a potential world class CB & a world class RB
Bought a 15 goal PL striker, who could back up Kane & also improve Kane being a top pro
Barkley gave a finger to Chelsea & Everton and could very well join us in Jan

Shame we couldn't get pacy attacker - but in a Wembley pitch we now have pace atleast at the back with Aurier & Sanchez

Rivals :

United - look set for the title with this window unfortunately
City - Great attack, dodgy still in defense. Good they lost out on Sanchez
Liverpool - Good fwd signings , but did not address defense , which will bite them evenutually
Chelsea - Lost all their key targets including Lukaku & Llorente; Sold Matic. Manager totally unhappy.
Arsenal - PATHETIC window - Sold key players, held on to a sulky player. Did a PR disaster on Lemar.

All in all, it could have been great, but we held our own & solved couple of key issues in squad.

Take itk with a pinch of salt and you might be a bit happier in life.

No need for that kind of patronising shite. It was pretty clear from the people we failed to sign that Poch was after a pacer forward and a playmaker. You didn't need ITK to see that.

Are you happy with Sissoko being our game changer?

Similar to the Rudiger signing for Chelsea though. He replaces back up but has the quality to be a starter.
