Genuine question.
Can someone explain to me why fullbacks leave wingers in absolute acres for crossfield balls when they've drifted into the middle of goal area but arent actually doing anything in there, I mean theres plenty of other players in there and its as plain as the nose on your face that out wide is where they're going to play the ball?
I just dont get it.
