Was this Son's best ever game in Spurs? Felt like a threat every time he had the ball.
One of the finest qualities of Son is that he can come inside, he can go on the outside therefore he keeps the defenders guessing. Alli is a player who needs to run from deep or needs the ball going in the box, Eriksen doesn't quite have the pace and dribbling ability to change direction in this way, neither does Lamela, they are all a bit too predictable with their running. Which makes Son an extremely component in this team. Not saying any of the others aren't, it's just Son is very different in this aspect.

This definitely falls into the category of stating the bleeding obvious, but we could really do with a convincing win today.

If we can do that, plus some improved individual performances, and ideally some slip-ups from our rivals this weekend, all would be well with the world again.

Well, we might as well start the matchday thread on a positive note, before it descends into the pits of negativity, anger and despair.

Do I win a prize?

Dele's refusal to do anything on his left foot is killing his game. So easy to shut down now.

We'll probably get about three minutes highlights, in between the twenty minute previews for tomorrow's derbys.

I was hoping it was going to snow like feck and derbies called off.

Win, win.

Sky derby day in tatters, and the hassle of a rearranged fixture for the likes of the Manchester clubs and Liverpool.

(Think Everton have enough going on.)

Hilarious that we have been on a really shit run but are still level on points with the goons.
