I love Pochettino. I really do.

But how on Earth does he repeatedly pick Sissoko over Lamela. How can he think Sissoko is the better option? What the fuck does he see?

I’m getting really tired of this. There has to be some sort of reason for this. He can’t swriously think Sissoko is the better player. He can’t. If he does, that’s concerning as hell.
Because they want to ensure that they don't aggravate his injuries.

We play like this against ManU, Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus and we’ll get spanked and deservedly so
We won’t play like this against them. Every team has games they aren’t at there best. We have been incredible (bar City game) for the last 8 games or so.

It also has to be said...Kevin Friend is as incompetent as they come.

Whenever a situation arises and he needs to make a big decision, he pretends to have not seen it.

E.g. Holgate eliminating Firmino from the Merseyside Rumble, Firmino, in turn, racially abusing holgate and JWP attempting to stamp on Vertonghen.

Everyone's slating Sissoko, but he's been more involved than Son today. Dele seems to be finding the conditions challenging as well - he keeps looking down at the ball rather than up at where he needs to play the pass.
It's been poor overall. Sissoko far from the only or worst offender.

Dele's insistence on taking an extra touch and losing possession when he should be passing or shooting has cost us at least two very good opportunities, Son has been non-existent and Sissoko has been involved but not done well. A poor show all round from those three.

By being more involved do you mean missed an open goal and played a big part in us conceding? I don’t think that’s the kind of involvement we need tbh

We also seem to be getting outnumbered and losing it in midfield. I think Wanyama on asap is a must actually.

You know Lamela has been injured for over a year and is getting back to full fitness yeah? We don't know how Lamela is feeling with this virus that has hit us.

Seeing as Poch has all the information to make a decision, we simply trust him on it?

Maybe his contract has some sort of stipulation which means he starts a number of games? Just a thought.

Robbie Earle just made a good point on NBC. With Eriksen and Lloris out with a virus, there could be come who are playing not feeling 100%. Time to roll up the sleeves and grind this one out.
hmmm...thought Poch made the same point before the match...

Because at any point alli can influence or change the game. Sissoko is just consistantly below average bordering on dreadful.
No, he's just been average and pretty much the same as most of the team so far; but I'd trust what you believe rather than facts.
