Really tough one to pick. Fitness doubts on some players. I would 100% go 3 at the back. We will also have game changers on the bench.
Keep Liverpools front three quiet we keep Liverpool quiet.
With our record at Anfield I’d take a draw now even though man for man we are miles better.
I’d go...

agree but we all remember that anfield game when he was up against mane...

Davies was half the player then though. He had very little confidence at the time and is much much better placed this time. He is the better player right now and the better outlet going forwards too.

Yeah, but I think he was hung out to dry that day. Tactically we got it all wrong.
We cannot go to Anfield playing a back 4.
Need to go 3 at the back with Vertonghen covering.

Prior to that game he hadn't been match fit/sharp due to limited game time, as the season wore on he got better. I think the roles are reversed this time and Rose is not match sharp. Davies will be okay.

No Moura by the sounds of it

Poch doesn't believe Lucas Moura will be available to play at Anfield. "Yesterday he was doing tests with our sports science staff and medical team. Today he is in Paris doing private stuff. Tomorrow he's back with us. I don't believe it'll be possible for him to be available."

Obviously saving him for Wednesday v Newport helps sell tickets?

keep a 4-2-3-1

I doubt this is the game for Toby to make his first start and Dembele will need a rest. So:

Aurier Sanchez Verts Rose

Wanyama Dier

Eriksen Dele Son

Kane

debut off the bench for Moura please
Dembele was immense, he needs to play.

Three at the back with Wanyama in front means Jan can cover him

Waynyama is in no form at all. Dier and dembele owned the midfield v yanited.. It ain't broke so Don't fix it? ...dont get the dier hate on here especially after his performance on wednesday.

He also said he wont change up the tactics for this one which is just a recipe for disaster and classic Poch at Anfield. The way to beat Liverpool at Anfield is play on the counter. Proven time and time again. Everyone knows this. Besides Poch. I am so not looking forward to this.

Well, the problem last season was that we left ourselves wide open: we didn't press but we didn't counter either.

Score prediction

12-14

Leaves us open for a last minute 2-point conversion or field goal to beat us , so it's a no for me.

Poch set us up on the counter at Wembley and it worked brilliantly, I'm not sure why he'd change that at Anfield. Have a little faith.

Yeah but on Wednesday United's attack was about as impotent as me after a few beers. I expect Liverpool to be a lot more up for the fight.
