Not quite understanding the love in for the Irish either. Good side of course but are people forgetting their performance last week against one of the worst French aides you’ll ever see? England have home advantage for that one which is key. Wales? Sure they can beat Ireland, obviously underdogs going in to that one but the gulf is hardly massive between the two sides.

I agree about England.

They need to get their verve back soon because they can't keep relying on grinding out victories.

I thought both Mako and Itoje were disappointing yesterday and Simmonds didn't repeat his heroics.

Would definitely help if we had either Billy or Hughes though. We really lack a quality ball carrier at the moment.

2 week break now to recharge the batteries with Marler coming back. Should be in good shape going into that last decider against Ireland. Mind you I could see us winning against the Irish but is always a massive ask in Ireland

I'd actually start Marler ahead of Mako. Better in the scrum and Mako is an awesome impact player.

I think Ireland will beat Wales but should be a good game.

That definitely isn't the worst French side you'll ever see and Ireland dominated the game except for a five minute spell at the end.
