I thought we were a tad disappointing yesterday. Nothing like the best team in the world and think we’ve stagnated a bit over the last year. Kiwi’s are the bench mark and Eddie keeps talking about them etc, and obviously each game is different, styles and all that but New Zealand would have put 30/40 points on that Welsh team yesterday. That’s a bit of a gulf
Not quite understanding the love in for the Irish either. Good side of course but are people forgetting their performance last week against one of the worst French aides you’ll ever see? England have home advantage for that one which is key. Wales? Sure they can beat Ireland, obviously underdogs going in to that one but the gulf is hardly massive between the two sides.
I agree about England.
They need to get their verve back soon because they can't keep relying on grinding out victories.
I thought both Mako and Itoje were disappointing yesterday and Simmonds didn't repeat his heroics.
Would definitely help if we had either Billy or Hughes though. We really lack a quality ball carrier at the moment.
