This. It's year 1 of Ange's reign. Pep finished 3rd in his first season. Arteta took 3 years to start getting results.

If we want success and believe Ange is the man for it, we need to learn to be patient.

I've said it for a few weeks now and I'll say it again, we're not progressing. We're gonna need the summer to give Ange the opportunity to address some of the squad deficiencies.

Part of this is on Ange part of it is needing some more players just like Klopp at Liverpool until they got VVD and Allison, we need the same but in attack, ST and winger both of top top quality massively needed.

There's no passion from the players mate. Watch (i'm immune from any criticism) Son. He pussies out of every 50/50 he's involved in. Timo earlier in the match went for the overlap, felt a slight nudge and threw his arms in the air instead of just getting the fuck on with it. Pansies to a fucking man honestly.

At the heart of the problem is that this system/formation/style, whatever you want to call it, requires aggression. Both going forward and defending. We've not been aggressive in the press or with our passing and movement, sloppy passing early in the first half set the tone for that.

You can’t be successful playing this system , we are totally reliant on last ditch VDV challenges and if he is off it then we’re in trouble , we are the opposite of compact and the worry is , like at Fulham - Ange just standing there with hands in his pockets watching this sh/t show unfold .

We know Ange's tactics aren't possession for possession's sake, he wants to go forward with intensity at all times. For some reason, the players just aren't doing it.

It's as if they are so afraid of losing the ball that the play ends up so slow and safe in dangerous areas we lose the ball anyway.

Since the first goal we have been bad. Bad decision by Romero to leave Isak and press the ball when Van De Ven was there to still defend against Gordon. Porro's defending is poor. Despite Teemo's decent approach work his finishing comes to haunt us.
