Werner is a comedy act. He's not always this bad, but he's not going to change much and he won't be rediscovering that form that got him his first move to the PL. There's a reason he's a 15M player, and it's probably not worth it.

The modern game, regardless of whether you’re playing for titles, mid table or fighting to survive requires teams to play as a ‘team’. When this happens, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a top side or scrapping for survival, you’re going to have to earn your potential victory. The days of having ‘luxury’ players are gone. At the moment neither Maddison or Son are doing anywhere near enough and it’s costing us way too many points. Had it not been for Utd matching our incompetence, we wouldn’t be in a semi comfortable position in 5th.

My favourite thing is how we play so many dangerous crosses from wide areas instead of needlessly recycling sideways passes until we lose possession.
