They need to go almost perfect to overtake us even if we go pointless until the end of the season. Neither of those things are going to happen.

I think Ange has given this squad to much freedom in attack, none of them has that extra spark to do something different and the result is everyone doing the same thing with no one taking responsibility at the appropriate time.

Its great when it works but teams will ask basic questions of you and they have no answer a lot of the time.

On the bright side it’s all uphill from here, even getting hammered 3-0 by Challengers Arsenal, City and Liverpool can be seen as an improvement on getting beaten by a 2nd string midtable team so as long as we can keep each match to 3 things are looking up…

Commentators saying we've got Richarlison coming back.
If we're relying on that we are in a sorry state.

I'll be honest, I haven't got many of these sort of games left in me until I turn on Ange, even though I really love so much about him.

I can accept losing. I can accept even when the players are terrible.

I can't accept us losing in-game, and then continuing to play the same way, like at the Chelsea game, and having teams get in behind that line time after time. As a fan, it's humiliating and utterly demoralising.

Sometimes you need accept the game is gone, shut up shop, and limit the damage.

Yes I get you want to commit to your ideals and principles, fine. But not when it starts to chip away at our dignity.

Yes... perhaps... but NO ONE expected us to be where we are right now in Ange's first season (and without Kane)... so maybe we should take a step back and take a deep breath ?? 🤷‍♂️

Some of us have some patience, though it's obviously in thin supply today. Was fully prepared for this to be a season of ups and downs while we build a squad and they learn how to play together. Nothing has changed on my end.

If people want to think that this season hadn't been better than last then they're lying to themselves because it's not happening fast enough. Need to give the man enough time, or we are back to the drawing board yet again, which fuck knows why some are so quick to accept as an option.

This. I'm only of those weird individuals were I get performances/results like this can happen in a manager's first season despite how frustrating it is to watch.

Next season however.....:cautious:
