One thing is clear - we have got worse over the course of the season and not better. Despite only having to worry about the league and having a pretty much fully fit squad. Very worrying. Ange has a lot of work to do.

You can almost hear the players' management teams tapping away on their phones, readying their clients' 'didnt go our way today/sorry for the fans' posts

My hope is Ange didn't fully appreciate how tough the Prem is, this is a painful learning curve. Next season will be different.

Turned off. The annual feeding season for Newcastle at St James. Same old mentality.

Totally agree with the criticism here not just one or two culprits. It’s on all of them today. Could take it with a pinch of salt if there were a load of academy players on the pitch today: they’d show more reckon.

Going to leave it at that as I don’t want to go off on tangents.

I don’t want him gone at the moment.

But Ange needs a period of reflection on whether the PL demands something different than the other leagues he has coached in.

It’s reconciling that Ange is quite patently a great guy with wholesome intentions along with the very obvious fact that we are ahead of where we expected to be in the league with how tactically naive and by extension easy for the opposition to set up against.

I truly hope to see some flexibility - both tactically and who he utilises in the run in or I will have grave doubts for the future.

Fulham, Brighton and now Newcastle. Mid table teams are blowing us away and it’s all on Ange.

Terrible team selections, slow substitutions and players picked on name rather than form. There’re way to lose games and this is not it.
