Completely forgot about the offside, missed penalty and extra time! As a kid bragging rights for the cup final was amazing. Not the same aura around the cup these days.

I got an absolutely shocking migraine (the only one like that Ive ever had) the night before the final and spent the entire day in bed. I never saw even a single ball kicked!

Lineker said that Gazza was kicking balls at the marching band before the match to try and knock their instruments out of their hands. He was totally hyper (more so than usual) that day.

Yes that definately happened as I remember watching him knocking 60 yard balls into the middle of them while they were marching.

To be honest though, you wouldnt expect anything else....
