I'm doing a spot of volunteering at Lords for this competition, seeing as it's an Olympic Venue they've given me the time off work, which is nice.

I did my first shift yesterday afternoon for the India v New Zealand warm up game. I've never experienced anything like it, the Indians are fanatical about their cricket, absolutely crazy. They hero worship their players, every ball bowled was greeted with whoops of delight, everyone on their feet dancing and cheering and clapping, the kids were going absolutely mental. It really was awe inspiring. And this was just a warm up game, i couldn't imagine what India v Pakistan will be like at the Oval tomorrow.

I'm back over there tomorrow for England v West indies.

I also saw the 'Super Over' of the Ireland v Holland game. Which was different.....!!!

Place your bets on Holland upsetting England. Dirk Nannes is a matchwinner, his spells in the IPL were excellent.

I dont watch much Cricket, but do keep an eye on the rsults now and then.

I watched Englands warmup match last night and doing the same just now (WI 93-5 13overs) But this 20/20 is just swing the bat and hope.... Ok there are some players that are playing some fantastic shots but there has been so many edges that run for a 4.

That was a fantastic finish to a game!

England were shit (yet again!) and Holland played realy well.

The way England batted in the last 9 overs was pathetic.

They moved Rob Key down the order to accomodate the so called 'big hitters', who as it turned out, could hit fuck all and then send him in with a couple of overs to go!

Far better to have picked Mascheranas.

Went to the match yesterday, have to say Holland were deservedly the winners, we started off brightly in both batting and bowling, but it says it all when Holland hit three or four sixes to our zero.

Oh well, at least I can now add cricket onto the list of world cups I've been to.

Looks like W Indies are putting the test series behind them.

Gayle has looked quality so far.

I feel Pietersen really needs to stay in for the whole 20 for us to have a chance in this match.

Thanks for the pm's

I don't think we're good enough to stop Pakistan reaching their target.

If I were placing a bet right now, I'd have our WC ending today.
