I agree and mentioned the unfairness in wickets earlier on. If they were given 5 or 6 wickets they would have been more conservative in taking riskier shots. Not having that restriction meant they could go all out and not worry about losing wickets.
The thing is as well, with floodlit games, you have to have some sort of cut-off. I think A&C is right about the council, but there would have been a cut-off time anyway. Otherwise where does it end? West Indies hitting the winning runs at four in the morning as the sun comes up?
When natural light no longer creates a natural cut-off point, the authorities need to put an artificial one in to be fair to everyone.
