This is great stuff from Movistar, isolated Froome and now Quintana is going to keep jabbing at him. A real test today Froomey!

That was an amazing performance by Froome today. One of the gutsiest I've seen in recent years.

Well done Chris Froome! More live coverage today from 2 pm on ITV4. They are saying there will be "a change in tactics" and I'm wondering how that will affect his progress.

Great result for Froome in principal today. However it'll most likely lead to more attacks like Sunday. Although Movistar shot themselves in the foot then as upping the pace to make sure Porte didn't get back to the main group left Valverde with nothing to attack.

Absolutely disgusting that someone chucked piss at Cav. One can only assume whoever did so was aggrieved by his interview after the stage yesterday, given that no one chucked piss at Greipel after he caused the pile up on stage one.

In many ways this has been the most interesting race I can remember for years. Wiggins had it so much easier, for a start he had Froome as wing man.

Really impressed with the Saxo Bank team today, but what a great ride from Cavendish. Firstly I really liked what he said at the start of the day about Kittel. Very magnanimous towards Kittel. Then to pull out a performance like that - I've never seen him ride a stage like that.

Saxo Tinkoff's team this year is just as strong, if not stronger than Sky's last year. Sky have had some pretty shit luck so far what with being down to six and a half riders effectively. I doubt they'd be looking as fragile as they have done at times if Wiggo was there.

He came in with the Valverde group. Presumably he got caught out at the back of the peloton when the winds split the bunch.

With the exception of Froome, Sky are having a bad tour. The last week is going to be fascinating. Just as well Movistar left Quintana up the road today, otherwise they'd be totally out of it in one stage.
