Very similar to yours. Seems pretty clear to me that we'll mainly be going for proven PL players who will improve the first team.

Seem to be quite anti Ade, do you think he wont suit Poch's style of play? or genuinely think hes shite?

Agree with this all the way.

The thing is, 1 of those expected to finish top 4 always slips up. Sometimes even 2 slip. Arsenal will not experience a 1st half again as good as last time. The finishing positions and points of last season's table look nasty, but in effect, we were 2 victories over Arsenal away from 4th. And to be fair, for all ours faults, I believe we have the needed squad to beat Arsenal. Thus, I expect next season to be really close and go down to the wire, much as many of us expected last season. We might miss out on 4th, but if so, it will be due to margins (again ). I hold 5th as most likely, with an odd chance of reaching 4th if margins and luck for once line up nicely. Every good team needs luck. We didn't have any of that last season, but we'll give'm a good fight all the way in this time around. (y)

Why not? We keep finishing above at least 2 of those teams pretty much every season. Even in a colossally disappointing season we were still there or there abouts come close of play. With even a slight improvement we can easily eclipse one of those teams.

Chelsea and City are out of reach, the rest we can compete with. Arsenal will be typical Arsenal, start strong and then turn to shit as soon as winter starts. Liverpool without Suarez, Everton without Lukaku. Plus, typically one of those teams always has a shit season in the premier league, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man Utd have proven this. Last season proved that we don't even need to beat any teams in the top 6 to finish in the top 6, we just have to beat everyone else.

I can certainly envisage us finishing above a couple of those teams listed.

We are going to finish fourth and get to at least one semi final next season. You heard it here first.

Yep, we'll finish 4th and lose in the semi-final of the Europa to Arsenal after them getting knocked out of the CL group stage. They'll then go on to finish 5th yet win the Europa, being awarded the first ever CL spot for a Europa winner at our expense. You heard it here first.

Yeah, you go ahead and rate me optimistic. ;)

I know it's obvious but we can't have any idea until we see what poch does and how the squad shapes up.

If he can get every drop out of them, get some luck with injuries, gets the best out of the key players; eriksen, Lamela, ade, townsend, paulinho, Dembele. If we get a surprise youngster really kick on like Kane or Bentaleb. Then this team can finish 4th and win a cup.

I personally would be very happy just seeing us get our swagger back. To have a philosophy that means that we really take it to teams. That we play quick, attacking pressing football.
I would be satisfied with that because the last 2 seasons have been in awful in that sense.

Think I'll chip in just before the season starts. Will have much better idea on the make up of the squad and we'll be able to see how Poch tackles pre season - not to mention what other Clubs are doing.
