Has anyone seen the new Real Madrid home and away kits launched today and thought to themselves 'they look a bit like a Spurs kit should look'. Simple attractive, good colours, no fuss. I understand all this making shirts distinctive from the previous season, but I don't see Real Madrid taking to the pitch in anything other than a plain white shirt (excepting sponsor/manufacturer stuff you always get) in recent years.

Thats all I want. Simple, no fuss.

I reckon Levy is adding all the extra bits to make sure each new shirt is different so that we buy more of them.

If we got nice strips every year, people would be tempted to stick with the one they have.

That gold kit of ours is great imo ... as opposed to the 1970s curtains get-up on the right.
As far as ugly as sin football kits go that's a new classic, hearty congratulations to Norwich for embracing it rather than go for something dull and sensible!
Apparently, this season's Hearts away top is also a shocker, but I haven't seen pictures of it yet.

Scotland wore jerseys in those colours a few times about 115-120 years ago, instead of the usual navy blue. They were the racing colours of the Earl of Rosebery, one-time president of the Scottish FA (not to mention honorary president of Hearts and the first president of London Scottish rugby club) and Prime Minister for a short time. His horses won several Classics, including both Derbies run during his time in Number 10.
