Embarrassingly bad

After watching Deloufou and Sterling today, you can see just how limited Aaron is, and how little he has progressed as a player since we signed him

He's just very fast. No goals, creates no chances, no guile.

There's a reason Sterling is expected to be in Brazil this summer and Lennon's only chance is taking his holiday there.

The one thing he had was his pace, now it seems that he doesn't have any idea on how to use it any more. Sell him to whoever wants him and lets try our luck with Townsend, or perhaps try and sign Konoplyanka or Deulofeu.

It will always be what could have been with Lennon.

Awful, awful player. Do not understand how he continues to get picked. He offers absolutely nothing.

I hate the way he bops round the pitch like he's the main man, when in reality he's anything but, he cant even lift the ball also which is something i could do aged 2.

Always loved him and thought he was under-appreciated by a lot of Spurs fans but recently it feels as though he's started drifting through games and looks like his hearts not in it anymore...

this upsets me as a Lennon on form and running with the ball is a scary sight for defenders.

Wow this thread is vile. Some of these are plain almost personal insults.

Anyway I never got why people want players to be sold. What exactly does that mean? I would gladly have anyone who wishes to play for spurs play for spurs. If the club believes they have to leave as they are

a) not worth the wages

b) because another club has put in a good offer

then fine. But I don't deal with the finances so it is of no interest to me. It is not my call.

So once again, just so I can understand this thread of logic which I have never possessed. Why do fans want to actively get rid of players?

So by your logic, if the club/manager thinks a player is shit, he shouldn't be sold?
It's worked for Liverpool selling Andy Carroll and replacing him with Sturridge. I think they're top of the league now, if i'm not mistaken.

So what if say, they get better. Players do it all the time.

But even so that is not the point. If they are not good enough then okay they shouldn't play. But to actively want them to leave?! That's different.

Also because it kind of undermines the role of supporting a team.I don't believe Naughton for example to be good enough, and I'm not convinced by Sigurdson. Lennon doesn't worry me too much because while I don't think he has been great I don't think any of the the other options are better. But I still don't actively want them to go, rather I actively want them to do well for the club. . Because I wish to see the club do well. I may get annoyed if they are on the team sheet but I'd still want them to do well.

Also we don't understand the complexion of the dressing room. We don't understand the nature we cant really know the value of a player to the team except when they play.

No my logic is very basic. Signing and selling players is simply a financial and logistical problem, in most cases. To actively want someone out makes it stem into something more personal.

i.e. I don't want this person at my club. Because I don't want that person associated with the club.
